books, periodicals, and other materials for reading, viewing, studying, or reference, as a room
or building where books may be read or borrowed. A-Library, or accounting library, is a
storehouse of all accounting books, reviewers and other materials needed by the students
while CPAs in Transit are those students whom considering themselves as Certified Public
Accountants but still on their journey as BSA students. A-Library for CPAs in Transit is not a
typical library that is built in most universities. It is a different kind of library that aims to help
all BSA students of Partido State University in their chosen field.

B. Rationale:
Partido State University (PSU) is one of the most well-known universities in Partido area
and has branches all over the Camarines Sur. The main campus of PSU is located in Goa,
Camarines Sur where Accountancy program is available. The course Bachelor of Science in
Accountancy (BSA) is under the department of College of Business and Management where A-
Library for CPAs in Transit is planning to be built. PSU has its own library but the books related
to accounting are limited and some are on their earliest edition. This project seeks to provide
latest edition of books, new published reviewers, up-to-date information and current revised
standards. A-Library for CPAs in Transit houses an extensive print collection of accounting,
reference and taxation resources, topical circulating book collection, and dozens of specialized
journals supporting faculty and Ph.D. research and the university's curriculum. The proposed
library will give every BSA student the opportunity to learn, to enjoy reading, to create new
knowledge and understanding about their course. This library supports the BSA's objective of
equipping the students with thorough understanding of the concepts and application of
theories.
