Dear Secours Islamique France Hiring Manager,

I have been working and volunteering, initiating local, regional and international sustainable development projects for
the last 18 years in several Countries of Europe, Middle East, Central America and lately in Africa. Ive always worked
with the 3 sectors, combining the power of the governments, together with the important reinforcement of civil society
and aiding to it the strong opportunities from the private sector. All the teams I have led have always been cohesive,
with enough tenacity for problem solving and focused on seeking for solutions. Being the Head of Mission in Jordan,
will be a challenge but surely, me and the team will work hard to excel towards high level of outcomes and results.

My last mission was in Sierra Leone as Head of Mission of a Medical Technical Organization. I was the Country
Representative and I was responsible for the management of a national and international team of 25, its financial
control, responsible for new funding, partnerships, political and strategic relations with the Government, the Global
Fund team from Geneva, national NGOs, the UN system and I was representing all the Health NGOs in the CCM
(Country Coordinating Mechanism).

I am passionate for great challenges, and even being responsible for an organization I completed at the same time and
in full time mode a Post-Graduation in the MSc Program in Project Management at Salford Business School in
Manchester and the Robert Kennedy School in Zurich. Im currently in the end phase of the thesis of the MSc.

In 2015, in the day of Portugal (10th of June) I was armed by the President of Portugal as Knight of the Order of Liberty
(that is a Portuguese honorific civil order that distinguishes relevant services to the cause of democracy and freedom,
in the defense of the values of civilization and human dignity. Are honored, national or foreign citizens who have
excelled by their love of freedom and their devotion to the cause of human rights and social justice, particularly in the
defense of democratic and republican ideals).

I have the ambition and extensive hard-working and academic experience that can be an asset to this challenging
position in a region I know so well. I lived 2 years in Jordan, with projects in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and in Palestine.
Nevertheless, I am sure that due to my diplomatic skills, management and field experience I will be able to contribute
for a high-quality management and scale up of Secours Islamique in Jordan and in the region.

Finally, and to speak a bit more about myself, I value the complex but simple things. I come from a humble working
class family, where constantly values as respect, transparency, exigency and hardworking values for excellence were
transmitted. In my life, I've been fighting for hard and high challenges and those are the best ways I can ensure to
develop my capacities as a human being and as a professional.

I live with an anthropologist view, since it is one of the only ways to understand who you work with, their daily issues
or life philosophies, i.e. In the Middle East I lived for a year with a Jordanian Bedouin Family, in Central America Ive
spend many days living and working with farmers, fishermen and bee breeders in the isolated mountains of Golfo de
Fonseca Honduras, in Africa I spend countless days in the interior of Angola, DRC, Sierra Leone and Mozambique
working with traditional midwives, teachers, communities and their leaders in isolated areas and even living in a
conflict and war zone as Goma (DRC), or refugee camps in Jordan. Even with all the difficulties and sometimes being
far away for some years, I still have a deep connection with all communities and people I have worked with. I want to
ensure all programs and projects that I participate have the right impacts and my footprint is sustainable and
constructive.

I have a wide experience dealing with Regional and National Governments and Presidents from different countries, I
have diplomacy and a wide spectrum of lobby capacities, I have an analytic mind and rigorous approach to problems.
Self-motivated, Psychological resilience and an Extended Leadership experience. I am hired in many situations as a
Fixer.

I am available for further talks and I will be thrilled to assume this lead role in such an interesting organization.

Managing this mission will be an honor.
