Our Astt Vice President has given us a specific budget for this contract. CFCL would appreciate to have
you as our regular supplier for urea grade material. But to do this we would need your price to better
than what you have quoted in your proposal. Your price should be Euro -20 thousand EXW-Basis
including all tests,TPI and P & F charges.

SUBMIT FOLLOWING CERTIFICATES FOR ITEM NO.1:MTC, IMPACT TESTING (-46 DEGREE
CENTIGRATE), MPI AND APPLICABLE SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE FOLLOWED AS PER
ASTM A 420 & A350 MENTIONED IN S1 TO S13.

3. As the case of our capital expenditure kindly confirm That
a) the LD shall be applicable as 0.5% per completed week or part thereof on the undelivered material up-

works basis shall be applicable after 8 complete Weeks from PO date.
b) PBG for 10% basic order value to be submitted for 24 months from the date of supply or 18 months
from the date of commissioning at CFCL site, whichever is earlier. PBG shall be valid for Guarantee period
+ 3 months claim lodging period.

requirements shall be followed as per astm a 420 & a350 mentioned in s1 to s13 and test

2. For item no 2: 3362010037, kindly confirm that you have quoted for 32 x150# sorf flange with
5 mm ss304 overlay at inside and raised face as per drawing attached herewith. Ut test shall be
carried out for cs to ss bonding test.certificate for the same is required along with supply.

1. You shall submit valve GAD for approval within 1weeks from PO placement date for CFCLs approval for
manufacturing.
2.you shall submit MTC, DP/MPI of body & valve parts, 100% UT/RT of pressure parts; along with the
supply of material. All these test certificates should be reviewed by the tpi agencies.
3. Helium leak test, hydro test, impact test (at -46deg cel) shall be carried out in presence of third party
inspection agency (LRIS/TUV/BV). Certificate shall be submitted along with supply.

Maintain clearance 0.50~0.60mm between Impeller Wearing OD to Casing
Wearing ID .
Maintain clearance 0.60~0.70mm between Impeller Hub OD to Diffuser Bush
ID.
Check Tie rod, Shaft, Impeller & Diffuser for any crack and defect by
visual inspection any and any Non Distractive test (DPT & MPI).
Use V Blocks & Dial indicator to check Shaft run out. Keep V Blocks under
Bearing location. Measure runout at all important locations like S.P. Sleeve,
coupling, Impellers, Bal. Disc, Thrust Bearing, etc.
Maximum permissible runout 0.03 mm
Locate counter balancing disc with O ring (412.5) on discharge casing.
Lock axial float of pump with the help of axial float locking tool then lay the
pump in horizontal position.
Measure total Free float of pump & calculate throttle sleeve length as per below

CBD and BD calculation:-


Total axial float=8.20mm
To keep rotor in Centre position.
Impeller hub to CBD face=91.56
Required expansion gap=1mm
Sleeve face to BD face =94.00mm
Required distance between sleeve face and BD face=91.56-1.00=90.56mm
Required sleeve cut=94.00-90.56=3.44mm
New sleeve length=82.00mm
Required sleeve length=82-3.44=78.56mm (Final throttle sleeve length)
Spacer Calculation
BD Face to BD bottom=47.86mm
Shaft step to CBD face=57.04mm
Spacer required=57.04-47.86=9.18mm (Final)
Install BD with spacer and lock with split ring then bolted retaining
ring with balancing disc. Insert spacer sleeve on shaft.
Fixed both side mechanical seal, but dont lock with shaft then both side
bottom bearing housing on pump.
Fixed both end bearing bottom then bearing centring to be done and boxed up bearing,
clearance should be maintain 0.08~.10 mm

Fixed LOD (Lift of device) housing with bearing housing then insert thrust bearing
cartridge with spacer and spring in side of LOD housing .

LOD calculation

Axial float adjusted towards discharge end = 4.1 mm


Same spacer used Spacer width = 8.50mm. (Before machining spacer width=10mm)
Required E= (A-B)-30mm (Spring free length)
= (122.25-75.70)-30
=16.55mm
Actual E=25mm
Spacer width required =25-16.55
=8.45mm
Actual spacer width:-10mm, after machining spacer width maintained:-8.45mm
For thrust bearing end cover thickness required
= [B-(C-D)-1]
= [75.70-(78.25-16.55)-
1]
= [75.70-61.7]-1
=13mm
Actual E=13.2mm
Before LOD fixing pump total float:-3.95mm
(With cover remaining float) = 1.05 mm
At the assembly completion a check should be made that there is no
integral rubbing. Pump should rotate freely .
