In this course you will
Discover the physical & cultural geography of the Middle East, Africa, &
Asia. For each of these world regions, we will focus on essential features
following: the areas geographic and cultural characteristics, its historic
development, and the major political ad economic systems found there.
The TAG course is a differentiated course specifically designed to provide
the basic curriculum to identified gifted students in a regular classroom.

Assignments and grading

5% Homework According to the Gifted Program & Procedures
manual, any student that drops below an 80 at the
25% Classwork/ Class Participation end of a marking period will be placed on
probation for the entirety of the year. If the final
30% Minor Assessments/Quizzes summative grade is below an 80 at the end of the
school year, the student will not be eligible next
academic year for TAG services in that subject
40% Major Assessments/ Tests

Final grades will be a weighted average of all grades earned during the grading period.

Discipline Cycle in a 4 week period:
The expectation is that you submit all 1st Offense- verbal warning
assignments on time for full credit. Late 2nd Offense- 1st blue slip- warning
