Study Plan for CA Final Exams Nov 2017

1. A student is required to prepare thoroughly for

examinations well in advance and to devote at least
two hours daily for studies while undergoing Articled
Training.
2. During leave period at least 12 to 14 hours hard
work is required.
3. Avoid mobiles, internet and television as far as
possible.
4. Students must study from class notes and do practice
from practice manual. Wherever a particular topic or
point is not clear, a student may refer to a study
material/reference book.
5. Students should refer suggested answers of questions
set in last five/six examinations and last 5 Revision
Test Papers. It is strongly recommended to solve the
questions first without referring to solutions and then
comparing the answers with the solutions given. Such
an approach would help in knowing point of mistake
and presentation pattern of an answer.
6. In law papers, Section and its provision is to be given
correctly. If a student is not sure about the Section
number then he should not quote the same.

GENERAL TIPS
You have to complete your 1st revision in first 60 days or 2
months and also you have to complete full syllabus of CA Final
in this period.
Here study material means your own class notes/tutorials own
material or any preferred publishers publication. Even you can
prepare both CA Final study material and practice manual of
ICAI.
Get up early in the morning at 4 AM. Be ready by 5 AM. This
period (4.00 AM to 6.00 AM) is called Brahma Murat and
studies done during this period cannot be forgotten i.e. they
remain in memory for long.
Multiple Revesions are required to clear exams and and to have
grip on subject also we need revision.
You have to revise full course thoroughly 3 times fully in 3
months period of self study and also have to cover 5 rtps and
mtps as many as u can.
You have to revise Your class notes and Icai pm 2 times not on
calsi,but by solving que by hand strictly.
While revising you have to mark que for last minute Revesions
from pm.
You have to make short summary notes from Your class notes
and pm.only these summary notes u have to study one day
before exam, to read whole book is not possible so please make
short and sweet summary notes of every topic and every subject
mandatorily.
Without summary notes it will be very problematic to revise in
last month and one day before exams.
See if u revise this summary notes 4 to 5 times in month of oct
i.e. time for core revesion no one can stop u to crack ca exams.
Try to take 2 to 4 subjects for both group and for single take one
theory and one practical.
If u have time go for classes atleast crash course dont plan for
selfstudy untill u r very good in it.
See to follow this is not mandatory this is an standard timetable
please adjust it as per your requirements.
You have to study or plan 3 revesion in july to sep and in oct
simply revise concepts,rtps,mtps, and your hand made summary
notes as many times as you can read it.

You have to complete your 2nd revision in next 15 days and

once again you have to complete full revision of your study
material which is you prepared in 1st revision. But this time
you should prepare both CA Final study material and
practice manual of ICAI.
