Admission Notice for Semester-III of Direct Second Year
Diploma Programmes (2017-2018)

The Institute has 2 seats at VJTI Boys Hostels, which are offered to Direct Second Year Diploma
male students of semester-III. The number of seats is very limited.

The admission shall be based strictly on Admission Qualifying Percentage. The branch wise
distribution of hostel seats for Diploma programmes is as follows:

Students staying within Greater Mumbai limits till Virar on the Western side, Badlapur and
Assangoan on the Central side and Panvel on the Harbour side are not normally eligible for
hostels.

The Hostel fee for year 2017 2018 is Rs. 19,600.00 per annum plus a one-time Caution Money
Deposit of Rs. 2000.00 totaling to Rs. 21,600.00 for semester-III students. Mess are run on
cooperative basis and Mess Advance for odd semester to be paid at admission is Rs.
16,000.00.

At the time of hostel admission, the candidate has to make payment of hostel fees for Rs.
21,600.00 online at onlinesbi.com using "State Bank Collect" tab and mess fees by cheque or
DD in favor of "JMC VJTI Students Mess" of Rs. 16,000.00.

Prospective students are required to download and fill up the application form and two
undertakings available on VJTI website from 13th to 17th August 2017 and submit it latest by
5.00 pm on 17th August 2017 along with proof of admission to VJTI, attested copy of
address proof and admission qualifying percentage proof at D Block Hostel Office.

Allotment list shall be displayed at D block notice board as well as on VJTI website on 18th August
2017 at 12.00p.m. Reporting by admitted students shall be on 18th August 2017 to 19th
August 2017 between 12.00p.m. and 5.00 pm at D Block ground floor VJTI hostels along
with the hostel fees and mess charges.

Students failing to report by 19th August 2017 5:00 pm will lose their hostel seat. Vacancies,
if any, will be displayed and filled.

Note: Regular students should not apply and there will not be more than one seat per
branch.
