Reading
Students to read for a minimum of 20 minutes Monday-Thursday
To be recorded each night in Reading Log (Pink Book)
with date, name of book, comment (written by student) & parent initial

Math
Students to complete assigned Mathletics activities weekly

Literacy or Unit Activity


Students to complete the assigned activity in Unit of Inquiry or Literacy
in their GRAY Homework Book
Other Information About Homework...
Homework will be given Mondays and returned on Fridays

Approximately 40 minutes an evening to be spent on homework from


Monday - Thursday
-20 minutes per night on Reading & Reading Log
-20 minutes per night on Math/Literacy or Unit Task

Students can manage their time (with parent or teacher help if needed) to decide
which days they will work on Mathletics and which days they will work on their Unit
of Inquiry / Literacy homework.

Example: Mondays and Tuesdays - Mathletics 20 minutes


Wednesdays and Thursdays - Unit or Literacy 20 minutes
