Erection and maintenance of site office and removal the same after completion of work in
accordance with the conditions of contract.
In addition to the office required for his own use, the Contractor shall provide and maintain
furnished field office for the use of the Engineer and his staff. The field office is to have a
concrete floor, adequate foundation, brick walls, false ceiling of hard board with seasoned
Garjan wood frame and painted, and all windows are to be glazed and provided with steel
grill. Outside and inside wall surface are to be painted on plaster acceptable to the Engineer.
The field office shall be maintained in a secure and watertight condition by the Contractor
until the completion of the contract and shall be provided with electricity, running water and
sewerage. All doors shall be fitted with approved locks and windows shall be provided with
screen/blinds. Before construction the Contractor shall submit plans and drawings showing
proposed details and location for the field office, including foundations, access roads,
1.1 shades, layout of electrical and water supply and hard standings thereto for the approval of
the engineer. The Engineer may require revision of the plans prior to giving approval for
construction. The Contractor shall also submit details proposed furniture, fittings and other
items of equipment and plant to the engineer for approval. These items shall be of the
standard quality suitable for site. The office, complete with furnishings, fittings, access roads
and hard standings shall be ready for occupation by the Engineer within 28 days of the date
when the Contractor first occupies the site. The Contractor will provide day and night guards
and a tea boy for the field office. At the end of the project all materials, equipment and plant,
furniture, fittings recovered from dismantling the office and removing access road will be
the property of the Contractor. No interim payment shall be certified unless Engineers office
with required facilities are constructed and accepted by the Engineer.
(This is a time related item. Proportionate payment for this item shall be made distributing
in each bill on the basis of percentage progress of the whole works under contract)

02.1 2 Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil for foundation trenches including. layout,
providing center lines, local bench-mark pillars, leveling, ramming and preparing the base,
fixing bamboo spikes and marking layout with chalk powder, providing necessary tools and
plants, protecting and maintaining the trench dry etc., stacking, cleaning the excavated earth
at a safe distance out of the area enclosed by the layout etc. all complete and accepted by the
Engineer, subject to submit method statement of carrying out excavation work to the
Engineer for approval. However, Engineers approval shall not relieve the contractor of his
responsibilities and obligations under the contract.

8 Damp proof course (DPC)

(a) 12mm thick cement sand plaster on wall (1:4) with " SBR ". (Rate excluding cost of SqM

Conditions:
Before start steel structure project work, following documents shall have to maintain:

1. Contractor shall submit the APD (Approval Drawing) or GA drawing before Fabrication.

2. Detailed Fabrication Drawing shall be prepared by the the Contractor & submit to the consultant.

3. Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) of the Project.

5. Contractor shall submit the Material Test certificate (MTC) & welding electrode test certificate .

6. Contractor shall submit the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).

7. Contractor shall maintain the daily Cutting, Fit-up, Weld log, materials surface cleaning (Sandblasting),

Paint inspection checklist and report to consultant (as per the requirement of consultant)

8. Contactor shall submit the Welder Qualification Test Record (WQTR) and test certificate provided by

AWS (American Welding Society) authorized representative as per the position (like, 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G) prescribe by consultant.

Aging of the Cirtificate of the Welder shall not exceed 1 year at the time of work start.

9. Contactor shall submit the resume of QA/QC Inspector and He will Maintain QA/QC report of welding log,

weld fit up report,visual inspection after cutting and welding,dimension checkup and inspection checklist during fabrication work.

10. No hot cutting is allow for hole preparation of beam.

11. Contactor shall perform and submit the test report of the followings:

a) UT test of 100% of Groove welding

b) Dye test of 10% of toal fillet welding

12. All structural steel material shall be sand/Grit/Shot blasted , prior to the first coat of primer

at the work shop and second coat of recommended paint as described in painting section of

this document shall be applied before delivery to site.
