Thiscatalog contains list prices for MD Helicopters, Inc. MD500/ MD600/ MD900 spare parts.
Any questions concerning this catalog should be directed the Manager, Spares Sales.
The May 2002 issue was the last issue that contained the
printout of the price list.
All future Price Catalogs only the policies and procedures. The current price lists, and
contain
changes, will be available for download electronically via the MD Helicopters web site as Adobe
PDF Format or Microsoft Excel Format. Price changes will be posted to the web site bi-weekly.

Ordering Instructions
1. Retail customers are to place their order through an authorized Service Center or
Distributor.
2. When ordering replacement parts, order by the part number and description provided in
the Parts Catalog. Do not order by nomenclature only. Orders that do not have sufficient
information for processing shall be returned.
3. To provide additional means of verifying part number, include the serial number and
model number of the helicopter for which the part is being ordered. MD Helicopters, Inc.
reserves right to supply alternate or superceding parts in all cases where design
the
changes, parts availability, or product improvement necessitates such substitute.
4. The purchase order shall indicate the name and address of the organization ordering the
part and to whom the parts are to be shipped. All purchase orders must be signed by the
authorized representative of the Service Center.
In the event parts are ordered by phone, a confirming purchase order must be
submitted by mail or fax indicating it is a Confirming Purchase Order.

5. Specify the desired method of shipment. Unless otherwise indicated, shipment will be
made via surface transportation, the carrier being determined at the time of shipment as
related to weight, dimensions, and destination. Shipment by other than surface
transportation must be so noted at the time the order is placed.
All freight charges are on a collect basis.
Terms of Sale
i. All prices are those in effect at the time of delivery and are subject to change without
notice thereafter, however all price changes will be identified in the MD Helicopters on
All AOG orders must be accompanied by the Aircraft Model and Serial Number.
These orders will be given the highest priority to ensure same day processing. Due to special
handling, a $100.00 administrative fee will be assessed to the cost of any AOG order.

When new parts are returned for credit, the Service Center must adhere to the following
procedure:
a) Service Centers and Distributors must request return in writing to the Parts Sales
Department. The reason for the return and the original Sales Order Number must be
noted in the request. In case of emergency situations, the return can be requested
by phone or cable but must be followed by a letter. A copy of this letter shall be
inserted inside the box or package that is being returned to MDHI.
b) Any items procured through our Warranty and Repair Department must be cleared
through that department.
c) MDHI will notify the Service Center of any parts received without prior
authorizationor proper MDHI identification and supporting documentation. Any
items received without proper authorization may be refused and returned to the
Service Center.
d) The following materials are not acceptable for credit:
(1) Printed matter
(2) Rubber goods
(3) Miscellaneous hardware (nuts, bolts, washer, etc.)
(4) Gaskets, seals, etc.
(5) Bearings
(6) Electrical items
(7) Any part with a list price less than two hundred ($200.00) dollars.
e) All returned parts are subject to the following restocking charges:
(1) Parts price from $201.00 to $1000.00 25% of sales order price
(2) Parts priced from $1001.00 to $5000.00 $250.00
(3) Parts priced over $5000.00 10% of sales order price
(4) All "Rule Three" parts (order on demand) 25%
3. All orders which are cancelled prior to shipment from MDHI are subject to a ten
percent (10%) restocking charge, except "Rule Three" parts. Rule three parts are subject
to a ten percent (10%) cancellation charge, plus any order cancellation charges from the
supplier.
4. MDHI reserves the right to refuse requests for credit on return of new parts.

The component exchange program is designed to ensure the minimum downtime for overhaul of your
MDHI helicopters. The following major components will be available on an exchange basis, when
ordered through your Approved MDHI Service Center or Distributor.
NOTE: Due to limited stock level, the MDHI Service Centers/Distributors are required to advise
our Warranty and Exchange Department at least 45 days prior to the date the component is required to
ensure that the exchange components will be available.

Additional Charges
Each component that MDHI provides on an exchange basis will be to the latest configuration. if the
component received from the customer is to an earlier configuration, additional charges as applicable
will be listed to cover the updating to the same configuration as the part that MDHI provides. if the
customer does not return an acceptable core, the customer will be charged the full new spare part list
price less exchange unit price.

Warranty for new replacement parts, and for only the workmanship on repair parts, will be 1 year or
1,000 hours, whichever shall occur first. Warranty will apply for 1000 hours or 12 months for
369D25100 series main transmissions only.
NOTE:
MDHI has noted, in certain component exchanges, an apparent attempt to load components to
be returned to MDHI with unserviceable parts by removing otherwise serviceable parts from the
component being returned and replacing them with unserviceable parts from other components.
DO NOT tamper with exchange components by replacing serviceable parts with unserviceable
parts. MDHI reserves the right to not accept components that exhibit such tampering.
Military Components
1. No military surplus components will be accepted on the exchange program.
2. Military components can be sent to MDHI for review and possible overhaul/repair and returned to
same customer.
3. Components must have properly completed history records to validate life items.

I. The Service Center/Distributor will submit purchase order to MDHI Overhaul and Repair
Department 45 days in advance of date component will be required, stating method of shipment.
2. MDHI will advise availability of exchange unit and invoice the Service Center/Distributor at the
unit price for the component ordered.
3. All components returned to MDHI will be prepaid transportation marked for MDHI Overhaul and
Repair Department.
4. If anexchange core is not received by MDHI, the customer will be billed for the core. If after
thisbilling the customer returns the core, the customer will a receive credit for the 90% of the
core charge.
NOTE: The exchange program core turnaround time is 15 calendar days for domestic customers
receipt of the exchange component, and 30 calendar days for International. A core for an
after the
AOG customer is due ftve days after receipt of exchange component. Prior notification of late returns
should be submitted to the Warranty and Repair Department.
5. MDHI will evaluate the returned component for normal condition and overhaul as required.
6. A properly completed Service Record Card or Service and Operations Report (SOR) or
a Service Record Card or SOR is not received, credit will be delayed until receipt of the Service
7. Exchange cores will not be accepted by MDHI if they have been involved in accidents, incidents,
hard landings and damage due to use other than normal use and wear. These parts can be returned
for review and possible repair.
8. If Exchange item has serialized life item installed and the items are different from those installed
when delivered from MDHI, proper documentation must be provided to validate the hours on the
item when installed or MDHI will invoice back for that item.
9. A properly completed component card should be provided for any time life items which have
been overhauled outside MDHI.

Technical Publications
MD Helicopters, Inc. (MDHI) maintains an inventory of active technical publications to promptly fill
your order. The Index of Technical Publications contains a list of all available technical publications,
their associated revisions, and to which helicopter model it is applicable. The index is periodically
updated and distributed to subscribers of the Technical Publications Revision Service.
The MDHI web site contains current indexes of technical publications as well as product descriptions
and brochures.

Revision Service
A Revision Service Subscription is included with most MDHI listed publications sets. A two (2) or
five(5) year Revision Service may be selected at the time of initial purchase or at subscription
renewal.

MDHI has signed agreements with two companies, Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) and
Avantext, for development of CD-ROM Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM) for MDHI model
helicopters. Both companies will develop, market, sell and support their own versions of a CD-ROM
ETM for MD Helicopters, Inc. If CD-ROM subscriptions are required, they must be purchased
directly from these companies.

In February 2000, MDHI started introducing online web access to MDHI publications on our website
http:Nwww.mdhelicopters.com Online access to MDHI publications has been expanded to include
all MDHI commercially available technical publications for all MDHI model helicopters.
Items currently available online are; Service Bulletins, Technical Bulletins, Service Letters, FAA
Airworthiness Directives, Flight Manuals, Technical Manuals, Overhaul Manuals, Illustrated Parts
Catalogs, Part Price Lists, Publication Indexes, Publication Order Forms, Logbook Forms,
Publication Change Requests, Warranty Exchange Book, Service Operations Reports, Rotorcraft
Technical Descriptions, Training Center Brochure and Marketing Brochures.
Rather than waiting for a hard copy in the mail, on-line availability of MDHI publications allows
timely access to up-to-date information which can be viewed and printed locally as needed. The
online publications are in Adobe~ Acrobat~ PDF format with embedded hyper-links, but retain the
look of the original paper manual content.
In addition, and in order to promote safety and reduce incidents, MDHI has an e-mail notification
service to notify registered users via e-mail revised MDHI Technical Manuals, Rotorcraft
of new or
Flight Manuals, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Technical Bulletins and applicable FAA
Airworthiness Directives.
There is charge to register for either the e-mail notification service or access to the on-line
