Officers responded to a report of vandalism at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Quarry road. Caller
reported that an unknown suspect tried to use a torch to melt open the change box on a vending machine on the
property. Officers learned that on 8/31/17 at 2205 hours, SCFD was sent to a fire alarm at the same location. It is
believed that the suspect in the vandalism set off the fire alarm at the location when they were attempting to break
into the vending machine.

Officers responded to a property damage complaint at Wells Fargo, 200 33rd Av S, St. Cloud. Investigation revealed
that an unknown suspect used a rock to break the drive through window. The suspect caused damage to the
window, but was unable to gain entry. Suspect also tried to use a torch in attempt to melt the glass, but was
unsuccessful.

Officers responded to a property damage complaint at Bremer Bank, 4150 2nd St S. Caller was dropping off a
deposit at the bank and noticed a broken window on the business. Investigation revealed that an unknown suspect
used a rock to break a window and gained entry into the bank. Once inside, the suspect used a torch to gain entry
into the teller drawers, and left with an unknown amount of cash.

Based on information and evidence obtained from the incidents listed above, it is believed that they are related, and
the crimes were committed by the same suspect. Video surveillance shows the suspect in possession of a torch
with a yellow tank, consistent with a bernzomatic blow torch. Attached is a photo of the suspect, taken from video
surveillance
