Job Description:

1. Be a member of the Site Safety Committee.

2. Assist the Safety Officer in carrying out his duties including submission weekly
reports to the Safety Officer or Project Manager.
3. Supervise observance of the legal Safety & Environmental requirements and
promote both conduct of work.
4. Be conversant with the safety policy and the requirements of statutory
occupational safety and health regulations and other relevant legislation.
5. Plan and maintain a good housekeeping of the site.
6. Give instruction to foremen and engineers on the correct and safe working
practices.
7. Coordinate with site supervisory to rectify unsafe conditions and practices and to
implement safety measures as recommended by the safety officer.
8. Ensure all machinery, plant, equipment and tools are in safe working conditions
and are only operated by the competent persons.
9. Give recommendation to Site Management for disciplinary action against
employees violating safety & environmental regulations.
10. Understood, comply and enforce Environment issue.
11. Advise Project-In-Charge of the legal requirements of environmental

they abide by them at all times.
