COSMIC incorpora el VIT-TECH (acero vitrifica-
do), un material tecnolgicamente avanzado, no
poroso, higinico y resistente que permanece
inalterable al paso del tiempo.
Para la adaptacin de esta nueva tcnica a las
lneas puras y ngulos rectos que caracterizan
los diseos de COSMIC se ha realizado un gran
esfuerzo en Investigacin y Desarrollo logran-
do el equilibrio perfecto entre forma y funcin,
razn y emocin. El resultado es la creacin
de SOLID una nueva coleccin de lavabos de
formas slidas y compactas; y la ampliacin
de las colecciones de mobiliario ya existentes
BLOCK e INSIDE.
VIT-TECH abre una nueva va en el diseo de
COSMIC y contribuye a la creacin de una de
las ofertas ms globales y sugestivas existen-
tes en el mercado.
COSMIC incorporates the VIT-TECH (glass-lined
steel); a technologically advanced, non-porous,
hygienic and resistant material that remains
unalterable over time.
Hard work in Research and Development ena-
bled this new technique to adapt to the pure
and straight angled lines that characterise the
COSMIC designs, striving for the perfect bal-
ance between form and function, reason and
emotion. The result is the creation of SOLID:
a new collection of washbasins in consolidated
and compact forms; and the extension of the
already existing furniture collections BLOCK
and INSIDE.
VIT-TECH represents a new COSMIC design
approach that contributes to creating one of
the most global and suggestive offers currently
on the market.

VIT-TECH es un material tecnolgicamente avan-
zado y nico, que nace de cocer a una temperatu-
ra entre 780 y 850 grados centgrados una super-
ficie de acero, esmaltada previamente.
La unin del esmalte, de naturaleza vtrea, y el
acero da lugar a un material de propiedades ex-
celentes que permite una extensa gama de apli-
caciones en baeras, platos de ducha y lavabos,
y tambin en hornos, calderas, conductos de chi-
meneas o revestimiento de fachadas.
VIT-TECH est pensado para los que buscan un
material con las cualidades tcnicas ms exigen-
tes sin renunciar a los diseos ms diversos.

VIT-TECH is a technologically advanced unique
material resulting from firing a previously enam-
elled steel surface at a temperature between 780
and 850 degrees centigrade.
The fusion of vitreous enamel and steel gives rise
to a material with excellent properties that can be
developed for an extensive range of applications in
baths, shower trays and washbasins, as well as ov-
ens, boilers, chimney ducts or facade resurfacing.
VIT-TECH is designed for people who require a
material with special technical qualities but who
are not willing to compromise on diverse design
capacity.

resistencia a la corrosin
El esmalte proporciona al acero una gran resis-
tencia a la corrosin. Las superficies esmaltadas
no son porosas lo que hace que sean completa-
mente impermeables.
resistencia qumica
La composicin del esmalte posibilita una excelente
resistencia a agentes qumicos como cidos o deter-
gentes. El contacto directo con cosmticos y produc-
tos de limpieza no altera la superficie esmaltada.
resistencia mecnica
La propiedad vtrea del esmalte confiere una exce-
lente dureza al material. Esto otorga una gran re-
sistencia a la abrasin, desgaste, rayado y choques.
resistencia al calor y al fro
Gracias a la naturaleza vtrea del esmalte, este
material resiste temperaturas extremas de -60C
hasta los 500C sin que se produzca ninguna al-
teracin. Adems, puede soportar importantes
choques trmicos superiores a 100 C sin ningn
deterioro. Estas caractersticas hacen idneo su
uso en aparatos de cocina, utensilios de menaje
o tubos de escape.

La superficie vitrificada, lisa y dura, no presenta
poros o grietas y evita la acumulacin de polvo o
la fermentacin de bacterias. Es un material de
fcil limpieza que no necesita la utilizacin de
productos exclusivos o especficos.

Posibilidad de ofrecer una amplia gama de tex-
turas, acabados (satinados, brillantes y mates)
y colores que presentan una gran estabilidad y
resistencia al paso del tiempo.

El acero esmaltado es un material 100% reci-
clable, fruto de la combinacin de dos mate-
riales tambin reciclables como son el vidrio
y el acero. El proceso de produccin dado las
caractersticas inorgnicas y no nocivas de los
materiales utilizados tiene un impacto ambien-

corrosion resistant
The enamel ensures the steel is highly resistant
to corrosion. The enamelled surfaces are non-
porous and therefore are fully impermeable.
chemically resistant
The composition of the enamel means it is high-
ly resistant to chemical agents such as acids
or detergents. Direct contact with cosmetics or
cleaning products will not affect the enamelled
surface.
mechanically resistant
The enamels vitreous property means the mate-
rial is extremely hard. This affords it great resist-
ance to abrasion, wear and tear, scratching and
bumps.
heat and cold resistant
The enamels vitreous property means the ma-
terial can withstand extreme temperatures from
-60C up to 500C without a single alteration. It
can also withstand heat shocks over 100 C with-
out deteriorating. These characteristics make it
perfect for use in kitchen apparatus, household
utensils or exhaust pipes.
guarantee
10 year guarantee from the date of acquisition by the final customer. This consists of repair or
replacement of the altered part, which does not include imperfections resulting from inappropriate use
or maintenance or incorrect assembly or installation.

Enamelled surfaces are not affected by direct

hygiene and cleaning
The smooth and hard glass-lined surface does
not contain pores or cracks and therefore avoids
dust accumulation or bacteria fermentation. It is
an easy to clean material that does not require
special products.
colour stability
It can include a wide range of textures, finishes
(satin, gloss and matt) and colours that offer
long-lasting stability and resistance.
ecological
Glass-lined enamel is a 100% recyclable mate-
rial, resulting from the combination of two recy-
clable materials; glass and steel. The inorganic
and non-harmful characteristics of the materi-
als used in the production process means it has
a low environmental impact.
