The students were not expected to past the pretest. The scores were not
surprising. The students who scored higher are my higher achievers who have a
good background in science. The lower scores were from some students who
need additional support for various reasons (EIP,ELL).

The post test scores showed tremendous growth. The post test results
reflected the knowledge students gained through the hands on activities and
varies activities that were planed throughout this unit. There were common
mistakes on certain questions, but overall, I only had 4 kids who failed the post
test. I think the unit came across as a success.
