PROPOSAL DUE: MONDAY, MARCH 13 AT 11:00 PM
1. Again, using autoCAD is not a requirement.
2. You will be working in your assigned groups and fulfilling the entire request (including
all 5 building sites) to the best of your ability.
3. In Topographical Survey Scope of Services
a. Describe your plan for surveying, including appropriate grids/maps
b. Name your permanent benchmark and plot it on map, describe according to
specifications as best you can
c. Estimate #1-22 as best you can- the grade is not on your exactness or accuracy, it
is on format and proper use of tools (THIS IS PRACTICE) **but if your math is
wrong, it WILL count against you
d. #18, only 1 copy
4. In Civil Engineering Scope of Services
a. Skip #10
b. #11, only 1 copy (done to the best of your ability)
c. #16, only provide cost for performing each service
5. In Security
a. All items should follow security guidelines listed in this document
b. Do not list employees
c. Include plan for work hours and lunch schedules
d. Include plan for compliance with incoming containers and tools
e. Include site communication plan with justification for selected plan- this needs to
be worthy of the request specified in Article 1.10 A

There will be a Group section on Blackboard where you can use the discussion board,
create a wiki or a blog, and communicate with one another. It is not a requirement, but it
is recommended. It is useful for working together (separately), and allows me to easily
help when you have questions.
