-is an Olympic team

sport in which two teams of six

players are separated by a net. Each
team tries to score points by
grounding a ball on the other teams
court under organized rules

A court 18 meters long and 9 meters

wide, divided into two 9 m x 9 m
halves by a net.
Attack line this 3 meter line
divides the court into back row
and front row areas (also back
court and front court).
Free Zone which is a minimum of 3
meters wide and which the players
may enter and play within after the
service of the ball. If a ball comes in
contact with the Line the ball is
considered to be in.
An antenna is placed on each side of
the net perpendicular to the sideline
and is a vertical extension of the side
boundary of the court. A ball passing
over the net must pass completely
between the antennae without
contacting them.
The type of ball required in volleyball
depends on the type and level of
volleyball you play. Beach volleyballs
and indoor volleyballs vary in size,
weight and composition. Beach
volleyball is played with two players
on a smaller sand court with a larger,
lighter ball, while indoor volleyball is
played with six players on a larger
court, with a heavier, faster ball made
of leather.

The net divides the volleyball court into two

halves. The height of the net varies based
on the age of the players and the surface
being played on. An indoor net is 7 feet 11
5/8 inches in height for men and 7 feet 4
1/8 inches for women. Beach volleyball
nets are hung at the same height. In
addition to the nets, and the poles from
which they are hung, protective padding is
required to surround these structures to
ensure player safety in case of collision.
Table Tennis is a common sport that could
be played inside the gymnasium especially when it
windy outside. But this can also be played outside
if there is no gymnasium or o room available. This
game can be played in singles wherein there are
two players competing. This can also be played in
doubles wherein there are two teams competing.
The objectives of the game are to t the ball by a
racket and return it to the opponent over the net.
Each player is given five consecutive times to start
the game. The common name of this game is Ping-
Pong.
Racket also called bats or paddles, "racket" is
the official ITTF term for the instrument used to hit the
ball. Table tennis rackets are made of plywood and
covered in pimpled or inverted rubber with a thin layer
of sponge in between. The combination of sponge,
pimpled rubber and plywood allows the ball to travel at
maximum speed and is conducive to adding spin to the
ball, although many players today prefer inverted
rubber because it is resistant to spins, allowing for
effective defensive shots.

Ping Pong ball international regulations require

a table tennis ball to be 40 mm in diameter and
made from hollow celluloid. The required diameter
was changed from 38 mm in 2003 in an attempt to
slow the ball down, causing controversy amongst
some Chinese players who are famed for their
ability to spin the ball so fast, a return is
impossible.

Table official table tennis tables are 2.74 m in length,

1.525 m wide and 0.7 m high. Tables are made from a
manufactured timber and covered in a smooth coating
to reduce friction, allowing the ball to have maximum
bounce. A white line borders the table and divides it
lengthwise, marking the right hand and left hand half
of each side.

Net the net stretches across the middle of the table

and should be 15.25 cm high.

Clothing there is no specific uniform required for

table tennis, although in official competitions teams
will wear clothes representative of their countries
colors. Loose, non-reflective clothing is recommended
and footwear should allow good ankle control and
quick movements, as opposed to trainers that are
specifically designed for running.
The game of badminton consists of two to foyr players
(singles or doubles). The aim of badminton is to hit the shuttle
with your racket so that it passes over the net and lands inside
your opponents half of the court.Badminton is a racquet sport
played by either two opposing players (s ingles) or two opposing
pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a
rectangular court that is divide by a net. Each side may only
strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. A rally
ends once the shuttlecock has struck the fl oor.
