1, the undersigned, Henry LaRose, residing at 1816 Saint Ann Street in the city of Jackson,
“Mississippi, do hereby solemnly swear that:
1) Ms, Linda Brune worked for me as a secretary and receptionist during the year
2001-2002.
2) After she left my employ, I discovered that she had forged a check for $500.00 from my
“Trustmark real estate escrow account, I knew she was responsible because she was the only
person having access to blank business checks, I also recognized her signature.
3) [later contacted her, hoping for an explanation and to get her to pay back the $500.00
she owes to this date. She admitted the forgery and the theft of $500.00. Her response was,
that I "owed her the money because I had never given her any vacation time."
4) I did not report the matter to police as it was well after she left my employ that I
discovered the forgery.
