Dear applicant,
It is an honor to know that right now you are intending to fill out this booklet of SPE UISC 2012
member recruitment. We believe that this opportunity will open new knowledge in your life and we
hope SPE will help you in your future career.
I was in your place, thinking about what the importance I applied for the chance. I finally came into
one conclusion that I needed to gain experience. What we provide to member is special, no other
student organization gives benefits as well as experience like SPE. This down-to-earth
engineering experience, this wide scope of network, and this professional experience are only
found in SPE.
Chemical Engineering has a big role in petroleum industry as well as energy industry. We commit
the creation of new technology. Today world of petroleum needs chemical engineers more than it
used to be since the first century it was found. For me, this is the price of experience in SPE, this
is not knowledge but value.
Right now, I encourage you to open your scope of knowledge. Indonesia needs future human
resource that could compete. By SPE, we could broaden our insight together for future Indonesia.
We need to share as many insights to as many Indonesian, and this will become my and your
duty.
