4.- Seleccin del motor (Maquina impulsora):
El motor se ha seleccionado del catlogo de motores elctricos WEG-W22 segn la
potencia en Hp requerida:

El proyecto se encuentra en la ciudad de Potos a una altitud media: 2810 m.s.n.m. y
una temperatura media de 15 C. El factor de correccin corresponde a 0.94, el cual se
ve acompaado del factor de rendimiento de 0.914 y el factor de potencia de 0.83
sacados de la tabla de un motor de 40 HP de 8 polos preliminarmente.
Por lo tanto, se obtiene:

Clculo del Valor del tren:
El valor del tren se define como la relacin de velocidades entre la entrada y salida de
un sistema de engranes de dos o ms etapas.

En nuestro caso este valor corresponde a:

Diseo de los 4 pares de engranes (Tren de 4 etapas de reduccin):
Para llevar a cabo el diseo de estos elementos se lo ha efectuado de forma manual el
primer par de engranes, posteriormente se ha empleando el uso del software de diseo
Mdesign para poder llegar a resultados satisfactorios de manera ms eficiente.

Seleccin del material para los engranes:
De acuerdo a los clculos obtenidos, debemos elegir materiales que obviamente puedan
resistir las cargas previstas, en el caso de engranes son posibles dos modos de falla: por
esfuerzo flexionante en los dientes y por esfuerzo de contacto o picadura, la segunda es
ms decisiva ya que es ms probable de darse esta falla, sobre todo en los piones que
tienen mayor nmero de revoluciones y por tanto de contactos.
En nuestro medio podremos acceder a durezas que no superen los 300 HB, a excepcin
del ltimo par de engranes. Los aceros para engranes pueden ser los siguientes:

La norma AGMA nos brinda las siguientes figuras para poder determinar los nmeros
de esfuerzos flexionante y por picadura admisibles para aceros totalmente templados.

En ambos casos, el pin posee mayores propiedades mecnicas que el engrane, segn
los clculos lo demandan.
Calculo de Brazos para los engranes:
Dado que el dimetro es relativamente grande en los ltimos pares de engranajes se ha
optado por disear brazos o almas de 4 brazos para tener un diseo ms eficiente
aminorando costos y peso en el engrane.

Clculo y diseo de los ejes:


Para el clculo de ejes se procedi a hacer los clculos de forma manual para el segundo
eje, posteriormente se ha usado Inventor para calcular los ejes restantes, donde se puede
apreciar sus distintas graficas de los diagramas de fuerza cortante y momento de flexin,
en cuanto al clculo de los dimetros mnimos requeridos en los ejes se ha usado tablas
de Excel para facilitar el computo.

Para la seleccin de rodamientos se procedi a hacer los clculos de forma manual para
los rodamientos del segundo eje, posteriormente se ha usado el programa online de SKF
para calcular los rodamientos restantes, donde se puede apreciar el tiempo de vida y las
distintas dimensiones de cada uno.
