SUBJECT- Application for summer internship at Amazon
Dear Team,
I am writing to express my interest in Amazons Summer Internship Program. I see this internship as an
opportunity to experience work in E-commerce sector.
I have completed my graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce pursuing Bachelors in Commerce
and currently pursuing my MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad. I have consistently maintained a strong academic
record throughout my education. Being among the school toppers for seven consecutive years and
maintaining an aggregate of over 90% in college are few highlights of my academic record. While
academics have been my strength, I have always focused on holistic growth and development. As I have
always been a passionate and versatile person who is driven by ambition and desire, I gained enriching
experiences through sports, quizzes, ad-acts, and poster making competitions. More importantly, these
developed a healthy competitive spirit, grit determination, and academic rigor in me which helped me to
perform well academically as well.

Cross-cultural communication, multi-departmental collaboration, and producing highly detailed and

dependable administrative support are few things that I have learned during my college journey. In my
sophomore year, I served as the Fest Coordinator for The Economics Society, Organising head for Business
Conclave and Event head of a mock stock competition. These positions of responsibilities along with an
inbound exchange program improved my leadership and team management skills. These also helped me to
appreciate team dynamics and value conflicting viewpoints. In the lookout for the diverse experience, I
submitted a research report on Internet of Things which was funded by Innovation Project, Delhi
University. The experiences of school and college helped a lot during my association with Trust Financial
Advisors and ANK Associates where I was working on the cramped up schedule and was required to
work with people with 20+ years of work experience.
Working at Amazon would help me gain from the industry insight and technology expertise. I feel I will fit
in well with Amazons culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. The leadership skills and the ability to
gel well in a team, which football has developed in me, would help me succeed. Also the fact that Amazon
invests a lot in the development of its employees is very important to me at such an early stage in my
professional life.
I bring with myself a balanced combination of excellent academic background, the theoretical and practical
knowledge and the necessary problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills acquired
through diverse experiences. As a hard working and committed individual, I have always given my 100%
to everything I take up and I strongly believe that I would be a good fit in Amazons challenging work
culture. Looking forward to being given an opportunity to showcase my skills at a professional group like
yours.
