Dear Voters of Broward County,

I’m hoping for a few moments of your time to tell you a bit about myself before you cast your vote. I know that
with 42 candidates seeking 20 judicial seats on the ballot, there’s a lot of information available, so thank you in
advance for taking the time to let me introduce myself.

I was raised in Broward County as the oldest of three children by hard working parents who both worked with the
community: my father has been a postal carrier for 25 years and my mom worked hand-in-hand with citizens as a
bank employee. I was instilled with strong family values and a solid work ethic from a young age. I learned not to
take anything for granted and to earn the things I wanted in life. Above all, I was raised to always treat people the
way I wanted to be treated, with dignity and respect.

It’s these values that I believe are the foundation of any good County Court Judge and want to take with me to the
bench. I can, and will, preside with fairness and impartiality, ready and willing to listen to every side of the story,
whether represented by legal counsel or an individual representing his or her self in search of justice.

On a personal note, I was raised in Coral Springs and completed my entire primary schooling there before
graduating from J.P. Taravella High School and attending the University of Florida. I graduated from the
University of Miami School of Law and have been practicing in Broward County courts ever since. In 2005 I
married my college sweetheart, who also grew up in Broward, and we are expecting our first child later this year.

I want to give back to this community in which I was raised and will be raising my own family. I am prepared to
dedicate myself to you and to maintaining the strength and character our county deserves. But I need your help to
do so. Election day is not just an important day for me, but for you as well, because with your vote you can have
your voice be heard in deciding who presides over your courts and legal systems.
