FOR SINDH AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITY SUB CAMPUS AT UMERKOT.
‘The Government of Pakistan through Higher Education Commission Islamabad has approved an
umbrella project ‘Establishment of sub-campus of Sindh Agriculture University, at
Umerkot’.
In this context, applications are invited on prescribed Application Form, from candidates domiciled of
Sindh Province for the following positions of teaching and non-teaching staff in the relevant pay seales
shown against each. All the relevant appointments will be made on temporary basis up-to project
period but are likely to be continued on permanent basis after completion of project period.

‘The Application Form for the position of Professor and Associate Professor should be

‘The Application Form can be obtained from HR office of this University or also can be
downloaded from SAU Website; www.sau.edu.pk/jobs and must be submitted along-with
Application Form fee (non- refundable) through Challan in HBL, SAU Branch or Demand
Drait/ Postal Order payable in favor of Director Finance, SAU Tandojam. The application form
fees is fixed as under;
(a) For positions in BPS-17 and above Rs.2000/- for each position
(b) For positions in BPS-11 to BPS-16 Rs.1000/- for each position,
(c) For positions in BPS-01 to BPS-10 Rs.500/- for each position
‘The candidates must submit separate application for each post on the prescribed form.
‘The candidates who are already in service in Government or autonomous bodies should apply
through proper channel. They can submit advance copy of Application Form but should have
to produce departmental permission’ NOC at the time of interview otherwise their candidature
may be rejected.
Application on plain paper and/or received after due date will not be considered.
‘The University reserves the right to inerease/ decrease the number of posts, not to fill any post!
withhold the appointment against any advertised post.
‘The upper age limit in case of vacancies carrying pay scale BPS-17 and below is relax-able as
per the rules of Government of Sindh, whereby, upper age limit in case of vacancies carrying
pay scale BPS-18 and above is relax-able up-to 05 years, in case of real merit.
The decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing at the interview/ written test.
