SOP for Mailbox Maintenance

This would help user in maintaining enough free space in their allotted Quota
Also Compacting PST would help users in Reducing size of local PST
In case of a PST Indexing , user can Lock the VDI session and have the process running in the
background so that Indexing process is not disturbed.

1. Make sure that the size of the PST file is not more than 10GB

a) Delete the unwanted mails regularly

b) Dont close the mailbox in the middle of indexing (Searching mails).
c) Instead of Logoff your session. Lock the system during the break time

2. Process to Compact the PST

Right click the Outlook data file select Data File Properties

Select Advance option

Click the Compact option
