Overview

A half-day pre-event session with passionate speakers to debate on two issues on electric
vehicles.

Tesla electric vehicles will be parked on ADB grounds by Tuesday morning. Presentations by
representatives of 3 car companies to debate about issues such as hybrid vs. electric vehicles.
Audience will vote on their preference.

The debates will be moderated by a professional moderator and there will be specific questions
that will help widen the knowledge of the audience through debate. The each presented will be
a good speaker and will be allowed to use chart or data to support their argument.

Outcome of the debates to be reported at later sessions.

The whole session will be video recorded to develop shorter clips for social media use and for
documenting as a short video blog working with DER.

4:00 PM. Set the scene with another short video on electric car

Session debate: What car will you be driving in 2025, why?

(4 speakers each team 5 min each: 45 min total)
5:00 PM. Poll results and conclusion
Sohail Hasnie will lead the team opposing the EVs to ensure balanced
participation.
