4. FIRST-AID MEASURES
After inhalation Remove to fresh air, restore breathing. Get medical attention.
After skin contact Remove contaminated clothing, wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if
irritation persists. Wash thoroughly clothing before reuse.
After eye contact Flushed opened eye for several minutes under running water.
After swallowing Induce vomiting of conscious patient immediately by giving plenty of water to drink.
Consult physician immediately in case of an unconscious victim.

Handling
Information for safe handling Avoid breathing dust, avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Decontaminate
soiled clothing thoroughly before reuse.
Storage
Requirements to be met by Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area. Keep away from flame. While transferring follow
storerooms and receptacles proper grounding procedure. Avoid generation of excessive dust.

10. STABILITY & REACTIVITY
The produce is hygroscopic. Readily absorbs moisture from atmosphere - solutions are strong base.
Dangerous decomposition products At higher temperature, decomposes into Sodium Oxalate and Hydrogen, then
into Sodium Carbonate. CO2 and CO may form. Avoid flame and strong mineral
acids e.g. Sulfuric Acid.
Acute toxicity:
On the skin Frequently or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermal irritation.
Summary of evaluation of the CMR Shall not be classified as germ cell mutagenic, carcinogenic nor as a
properties reproductive toxicant.
Environmental toxicity According to 1272/2008/EC shall not be classified to the aquatic environment.
Waste treatment methods Dispose of this material in accordance with standard practice for disposal of
potentially hazardous material as required by applicable international, national,
or local laws. Do not dump into any sewers, on the ground, or into body of
water.
Whatever cannot be recycled should be transferred to appropriate and approved waste disposal facility. Dispose waste
containers and unused contents in accordance with official regulations.
