Para introducir cualquier frmula o funcin siempre debemos comenzar por el signo
=de manera que Excel pueda identificar que los datos introducidos no son textos o datos
numricos. Las frmulas en Excel son expresiones que se utilizan para realizar clculos o
procesamiento de valores, produciendo un nuevo valor que ser asignado a la celda en la cual se
introduce dicha frmula. En una frmula, por lo general, intervienen valores que se encuentran
en una o ms celdas de un libro de trabajo.

diferencia entre una frmula y una funcin, si queremos obtener la suma de varias celdas adyacentes
podemos escribir la siguiente frmula: =A1+A2+A3+A4. Pero tambin podemos utilizar la funcin SUMA para const
la frmula. =SUMA(A1:A4) y obtendremos el mismo resultado. Si queremos utilizar una funcin es necesario
introducirla en la celda que ser donde queremos obtener el resultado de la misma.

Quizs conozcas lasfuncionesbsicasdelprograma y las ms utilizadas: SUMA, PROMEDIO, MXIMO, MINIM

Pero hay muchsimas ms. Cuando escribes una funcin Microsoft Excel al escribir el signo = igual, el nombre de la
funcin y el parntesis, automticamente te ofrece un asistente alternativo color amarillo debajo de la celda donde
indica la sintaxis de la funcin, es decir cmo tienes que ir construyndola. Si cometes errores mientras escribes la
funcin Excel presentar un mensaje de error indicando el error cometido y te brindar la posible solucin.

mucho sobre ellas, te recomendamos utilizar el Asistente para Funciones. El mismo se encuentra en la ficha
Frmulas, all debes hacer clic en la opcin Insertar Funcin. Te aparecer un asistente que te orientar sobre lo
que quieres hacer y te mostrar la funcin que debes aplicar y cmo armarla. Entre las ms utilizadas, que te
recomendamos conocer y luego ms adelante te mostraremos en otro tutorial se encuentran: BUSCAR, CONTAR,
CONTAR.SI, CONTAR.BLANCO, SI, SUMAR.SI, y muchos ms.
