A.O.2
Philosophy
ACT OUT at Front and Center Stage is designed to educate, inspire,
and enhance creativity among our future generations in the early
childhood education setting.

Goals
Our philosophy is reflected through these following goals:
To foster social, cognitive, and emotional development
To promote a childs self-esteem and self-worth
Exploring the diverse characteristics of individuality and
imagination
Provide a safe and nurturing environment that allows a child to
freely express themselves
Introduce basic theatre terminology
Develop positive recreational outlets for the future
Encourage confidence and ease when in public settings

Curriculum
ACT OUT offers a child-centered and developmentally appropriate
program for three through five-year-old children with a theatrical
twist. Each session is created by taking a theatrical concept and
interpreting its meaning to children through the means of
structured and unstructured play. The teachers use their own
experiences and techniques, to present each lesson which in turn
corresponds with the curriculum and nurtures each childs
creativity. Our sessions schedule will incorporate instructional
components seen in the realm of early childhood education such as:
circle time, literacy, social skills, the arts and much more!

A.O.3
Communication
When parents, teachers and the community work together as a
team, children derive and benefit the most. ACT OUT strives to
make sure all lines of communication are open and clear. All means
of communication regarding class cancellation etc. will go through
your childs school. Any communication regarding billing will come
from your assigned Act Out rep. Our means of communicating with
our ACT OUT families are email or telephone.

Non-Discrimination Policy
All children without regard to color, race, gender, religion, national
origin, sexual orientation, disability, handicap, etc., will be accepted
by ACT OUT. We adhere to all applicable local and state laws
governing non-discrimination in schools. This policy applies to all
conditions and terms of enrollment, incorporating, but not limited
to, placement, development, admission, withdrawal or dismissal,
and childcare.

We explicitly prohibit any form of unlawful harassment based on
