ADK series applies for dry air supply on

maintenance work of transformers,
reactors and other large electrical
equipment. It is an alternative to the
traditional transformer hot oil circulation
drying methods. It also applies to air dry
and cycle dry for warehouse, packaging,
electronics and other industries. It is
particularly suitable to dry hydrogen in the
hydrogen gas cooling system of the
generator sets, as well as drying of the
SF6 gas in SF6.

 Working Principle

The ability of the air to accommodate the water vapor is inversely proportional to the
pressure. Part of the dry air (called the regeneration gas) is expanded to atmospheric
pressure under reduced pressure. This pressure diversity makes the expansion air drier.
Then it flows through the desiccant layer which is airflow-unprovisioned and needed
regeneration (it is the drying column which has absorbed sufficient water vapor). The
regenerated dry air sucks out the moisture in the desiccant and brings it out. Cyclic
operation of the two towers constantly provides compressed dry air to the user without
heating.

Features

Export Dew Point: the large capacity of the desiccant to ensure adequate contact time of
the air with desiccant can fully absorb moisture. The desiccant can make up the
additional 30% of the natural aging; ensure the desiccant life of more than 3 to 5 years.

Minimum regeneration air consumption: The tower body is designed to store 98%
adsorption heat, maintaining high temperature of regeneration air, increasing the
regenerative capacity. The drying and regeneration are reverse flow, so it saves energy
while the wet air flowing through the dry adsorbent.

Sorbent serves long life: Unique design for the removable stainless steel diffuser, evenly
distributed the air in the tower to avoid the abrasion of the adsorbent after the
channeling.
Adopt high quality adsorbent.
Automatic pressure filling.
Advanced filling technology and air distribution technology can make desiccant long
service life.

Easy operation: Advanced microcomputer controlling system has automatic credit,

automatically switch, working time set, fault alarm functions, and dynamic display of
operating state, etc.

Easy maintenance: Independent adsorbent filling holes and outfalls, easy to replace.
Removable stainless steel diffuser for easy cleaning. A bypass pipeline is optional for
easily repair and maintenance and dont need to stop the air compressor and stop
operation.

Safe: Each tower has a safety valve; big load of exhaust muffler, the noise reduced to a
minimum; design and manufacture meet Pressure Vessel Code.

Reliable: high quality cut valve and electromagnetic valve. Pipe flange butts, no leaks,
easy to assemble.
Adjustable regeneration air consumption: Energy-saving and dew point adjustable.
Dew point monitoring and control system is optional according to the needs.

ADK is able to examine and repair the generator power equipments without influenced
by the outside climate. Especially for the overnight operation, just seal around the flange,
fill dry air 0.02~0.03MPa, while the transformers and reactors wont damp without oiling.
Reducing the daily pumping and oiling work, to shorten the repair period and improve
the quality of maintenance. Inflating the dry air to the fuel injection device and oil inflate
in the purify process, can improve insulation and reduce water when it is in rainy and
humid environment. ADK can be also used as indoor air condition when it is left unused.
