Note:
The display only appears when the timer is switched on.
Warning:
Once the timer is set, the selected function starts as soon as the timer
returns to run mode; nevertheless, for security reasons, no function is
possible with the 2-5 contact open.

USER PRECAUTIONS
The cables carrying the power supply and the bables to the input circuits must be separated
from one another. It is imparative to connect the supply (2-10 or 2-11) before applying voltage
to the control inputs (start or reset). In industrial environments where there are high levels of
electromagnetic interference, there are certain ways of counterin this interference:
• Sheild the conductors by connecting their shield to the 0 V of the counter.
• Protecting the output devices:
1. AC outputs: 100MΩ, 0.1µf RC circuit across terminals of coil.
2. DC output: diode across terminals of coil
A minimum amount of ventilation must be provided.
Important:
The input circuits must be galvanically isolated from the timer supply. However,
galvanic isolation is not necessary if:
• The supply is AC and the input is by contact closure.
• The timer and the sensor have the same supply.
