Fellow Department Heads,

I have decided to withdraw my name for consideration for the Provo Police Chief. I have come
to the conclusion that it is not the right fit for me both professionally and personally. Toni and
I are very pleased with the decision.

I have enjoyed serving in Draper for the past five years and look forward to continuingserving
withyou. Draper is a great community and your dedicated service is inspiring.
