9. The control surfaces are placed in neutral position.

CALIBRATE THE WEIGHING SCALE

1. The reading on the scale is zero out referring to the manual.

2. The chocks are weighed and the tare weight are recorded.

TOW THE AIRCRAFT

1. Read the aircraft manufacturer instruction prior to jacking.

2. Place the weighing scale in line with the nose and main gears.

3. Tow the aircraft on to the weighing scale.

LEVEL THE AIRCRAFT

1. Type Certificate Data Sheet NO.3A19 and manufacturer instructions are read.

2. The aircraft is levelled laterally using spirit level and level condition of the aircraft are
adjusted by deflating or inflating the oleo struts of the nose gear using the nitrogen
gas.

3. The aircraft is levelled horizontally/longitudinally using spirit level condition of the

aircraft by deflating or inflating the oleo struts of the nose gear with nitrogen gas.

READING WEIGHING SCALE

1. The weight shown on the scale for each gear are read.

2. The tare weights are deducted.

3. The values are recorded in weight and balance form.

MEASURING THE DATUM

1. The position of datum is read from the Type Certificate Data Sheet NO.3A19.

calculated and recorded in the weight and balance form.

2. The maximum gross weight of the aircraft is found and the useful load of the aircraft
are calculated. It is recorded in weighing form G-11.

3. The weighing form is signed.

4. The latest weight and balance data are recorded in the aircraft log book and sample
the aircraft log sheet for project G-11.
