History of Book Being Challenged and Banned
1.) Materials like the papyrus, and parchment were so
weak it was hard for the Bible to stay intact over long
periods of time in extreme temperatures.

2.)A Trinitarian writer tried to add in heaven, the

Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three
are one. to 1 John 5:7 which says For there are three
witness bearers:. This is all there is for verse 7. That
statement did not appear, or show up in any way in the
History of Book Being Challenged and Banned
3.)In about 167 B.C.E. Seleucid King Antiochus Epiphanes made it his
goal to force Greek religion on the Jews. He commanded all copies of
the Hebrew Scriptures to be destroyed never to be seen again.
4.) In the Middle Ages where some Catholic leaders were upset that
the laity were preaching, and teaching what the Bible taught rather
than Catholic dogma, branded as heretics any laymen (people who do
not know much on a particular subject) who owned Bible books other
than the Psalms in Latin.
Social Occurrences During the Banned Period
1. The Jewish law convinced all kings to write the first five books of the Bible for
himself in a copy of his own book with the Law as well. I remember something
else..Part of Ecclesiastes and Revelation..He said it over to himself silently
(Bradbury, 160) The kings copied down parts of the Bible to keep record of them
which is sort of related to how Guy, and his group mesmerized parts of their
books to keep record of them.

2. Professional copyists created so many manuscripts that by the first century C.E.,
the Scriptures could be found in synagogues throughout all of Israel and even in
the distant land of Macedonia. We are all bits and pieces of history..Well pass
the books onto our children, by word of mouth. (Bradbury, 152-153) The
copyists made many manuscripts of the Bible so it wouldnt be erased, and like
them Granger suggests that future generations will know about books by word.
Social Occurrences During the Banned Period
3. King Antiochus focused his campaign of destroying the scriptures on Israel,
but the Jews had created communities in several other lands. Most of them are
wanted and hunted in the cities. They survive, I guess..the governments never
considered them a great enough danger to go in and track them down.
(Bradbury, 132) This king wanted the Bible destroyed, but the Jews lived in other
lands away from him so they could preserve it. The people who liked books were
far away from the government so they could preserve the books, and their lives
for reading them.
This Book Shouldnt Be Banned, and Challenged
1. It helps others to live their lives according to how Jehovah knows best. Since
he created everyone he would be the only one who knows us better than we
know ourselves. 1-O Jehovah, you have searched through me, and you
know me. 15-My bones were not hidden from you When I was made in
secret, When I was woven in the depths of the earth. 16-Your eyes even saw
me as an embryo; All its parts were written in your book Regarding the days
when they were formed, Before any of them existed (Jehovah God, Psalms
139:1,15,16).
This Book Shouldnt Be Banned, and Challenged
2. A book that helps others how to live life wisely should not be banned.
Jehovah God wants us to try our best to live a morally, clean life. You must not
murder. (Jehovah God, Exodus 20:13) But now I am writing you to stop
keeping company with anyone called a brother who is sexually immoral or
a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner,
not even eating with such a man (Jehovah God, 1 Corinthians 5:11).
