LEONARD BERNSTEIN AS I REMEMBER HIM

THE MUSIC AND THE MAN AS RECALLED BY MATTHEW TAYLOR

Matthew Taylor, founder of the Group, composer, pianist and conductor was
just 22 in 1987 when he became assistant to Leonard Bernstein at the time
artistic director of the Schleswig Holstein Festival.

Lennie left a great impression on Matthew. 2018 will be the year of the Bernstein
centenary and Matthew has chosen to celebrate with a single lecture on some
of the better and some of the lesser known works of his great mentor. Matthew
will also relate some of his memories and impressions of Lennie and will be
open to questions. The lecture will take place at what has become our second
home,

The Old Library at Charlton House.
