Reproductive System!! :o

Through out the process of this making this video presentation, my

knowledge towards the reproductive system and the stages of the fetal development
was reinforced and ultimately. As a biology student, information regarding this topic
is expected. However, during this process I have gained a deeper, more detailed
understanding regarding the topic such as the different ways to show the fetal
development, amount of sperm ejaculated and more.
Furthermore, my role as somewhat a leader was also developed; I have also
gained a deeper appreciation towards my hobbies such as photography and my

slight interest in film making was somewhat met as I directed and shot the video.

During the process of formulating ideas on how to discuss the reproductive parts
and the process of birth without having to show it was a wonderful experience. It

allowed us to use our creativity and imagination, which I think helped us or rather,

me, develop a more personal connection to the topic and to easier to understand
and remember.
The process of making the video presentation was also enjoyable; it
developed and tested camaraderie among the group. We also had fun in suggesting
ways on how to properly portray each step from copulation, to the fusion of the egg
cell and the sperm cell, the developmental stages, and birth. Overall, I would
consider this project as success as it has effectively helped us improve our skills,
tested our knowledge and ability to research, allowed us to think outside the box
and express our creativity, develop friendship and camaraderie, which is the goal of
the project. In my opinion, to further improve its effectiveness, suggest or require
topics that are socially relevant which are related to each topics. An example is:
reproductive system and rising cases of HIV in the Philippines.
