Engineering Services

The CICE shall check, endorse the design, calculation

report and drawings and, perform onsite checking and
supervision for endorsing permit to load and permit to
unload for all major Temporary Works as follows:

A. Trestle/Scaffold System for Segmental Box Girders

Launching

Design checks for Segments, Piers at interfaces with

temporary works for Trestle Construction and
strengthening works which necessary to the Permanent
Structure or Temporary Structure

Trestle/Scaffold Design Check

Design check during Load Transfer (ie. Staged post

tensioning operations from Trestle Support to Pier
Support)

Check for tension in the joints and generate loads to the

trestle legs and produce maximum load experienced by
trestle leg suitable for calculatios of ground pressures

Design check for Trestle primary/secondary beam

Check for span overturning during and after erection

including parapet installation

Effects SBG erection to permanent MRT pier structure

Ground design works for Trestle Support

Appendix, Drawings and Specifications including
all relevant Authorities requirements, approval and
other works, requirements and compliance which
is indispensably necessary to bring to satisfactory
completion of the whole Works.
