Introduction
Thepurposeofthismoduleistogiveyoualltheknowledgeandunderstandingyouneedtobeable
tousemicrophoneseffectively.Youshouldnotehoweverthatthisisjustthestart.Microphone
techniqueisaskill,acraftandanart.Yes,itisallbasedonafirmfoundationofscientificand
engineeringknowledge.Butyouneedtopractisethatartandthemoreyoupractise,overaperiod
ofyears,thebetteryouwillbecome.Eventuallyyouwillcometoapointwhereyoucanjustlookat
anensembleofinstrumentsandknowwheretopositionthemicrophones.Butyouwillalwayslisten,
