we thank you for your interest in our products and we hereby deliver you a
compilation of our product informations.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to our grouts, with which we are
worldwide market leaders and, due to the high quality, have delivered the basis of the
DAfStb guidelines.

The high final pressure and flexural strength of 134.7 / 14.7 N / mm are of
particular interest. The values of 89.2 / 11.5 N / mm allow a 100% load after
already 24 hours.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Here, we refer to the particular extraction data on page 13. Every 25mm
Steel rod was set in concrete just 15 centimeters deep and pulled in a tensile test
after only 24 hours. With the level of performance we are on top of the world
rankings.
Even old certificates, see the historical part from 1970, have almost the same values,
although two cement standards changes were operated in this period of time.
VM100, latest development of the grout pressure strength after 24 hours of 106.5
N / mm. In addition to the even expansion, the shrinkage was measured with the
lowest score worldwide: 0.09 mm / m after 90 days. These are 900% less than the
required setpoint.

Initially, a number of studies have been made for companies such as MAN, Sulzer AG,
BBC turbines and the most interesting one for Siemens AG.
Siemens asked for a certificate that would ducument the behavior of grout under
pressure and vibrations. Usually mortars are destroyed under these conditions.
The VM1 GROUTING MORTAR (former name V1 grouting mortar) improved under
pressure and vibration compressive strength due to internal compression.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The NOVO 2012 VM GROUTING MORTAR is the first product of grouting mortar,
which combines the perfect properties of cement and epoxy resin; Slump-flow 124
cm , compression strength 130 N / mm.

INFORMATION
For one, it is highly fluid, almost like water - or rather like a thin fine pulp of
semolina pudding. Such efficient diffusion is required to fill all voids and to ensure the
area-wide, even distribution of the grout.
A critical quality is that the VM1 GROUT does not shrink and, in fact, expands by
0.5%, thus ensuring optimal transmission of power. It achieves an average compressive
strength of about 134 N/mm!
These special properties have advanced the VM1 GROUT to a benchmark industrial
product, with various applications, such as the grouting of machinery, anchors,
bridges, columns, crane track machines and turbines.
We can also offer you the VM1 GROUT reinforced with steel fibers as a solution to
structural problems in inaccessible areas.
HISTORY
The company Arnfried Pagel pers. Ing. GmbH & Co. KG was founded on May 12th,
1961 in Essen - Kettwig after a previous 1.5-year phase of product development.
1971 Mr. Pagel added a research laboratory for concrete and plastics.
From the onset, developing grouts (e.g. V 1, VM 100) was Mr. Pagels priority,
not only in our own laboratory and in terms of international sales, but especially
because of its high quality - topping the world rankings. This position was expanded
and consolidated to this day.
Our business partners are large-scale industries, big contractors, construction and
civil engineering companies in general, up to the large spectrum of users such as
track builders, turbine and windmill manufacturers, but also installation companies
and plumbers.

VM1 GROUT is a non shrinking grout for anchors,aggregates and machinery, cement-based
and free of aluminous cement.
VM1 GROUT has a flowable consistency and and an excellent void filling action, is force
transmitting on its whole surface and insentitive to pressure, shock and vibration; there
will be no decomposition, the material is resistant to cracking: W/C-ratio 0,31.5.
VM1 GROUT is consistent and almost impermeable for oil, gas and water, and also
resistant to frost and corrosive salt.

VM1 GROUT is cement-bound and ready for use, workable for approx. 120 minutes

PROCESSING:
SV 1 QUICK-SETTING GROUT - ready to use - Grain size 0 - 4 mm
1 kg ready to use SV 1 QUICK-SETTING GROUT yields approx 0,5 l wet grout. The
quantity of water necessary is approximately 12%.
The bulk weight of the wet SV 1 QUICK-SETTING GROUT is approximately 2,2 to/m.
To prepare a grout of flowable consistency 3,1 liters per 25 kg bag have to be used.
The grout is workable for 8 min.
AREAS OF APPLICATION

UM 1 TAMPER GROUT is a non shrinking mortar or backfilling steel and concrete constructions,
cavities and anchorings.
UM 1 TAMPER GROUT is needed for non shrinking and crack free grouting of masonry. It de-
velopes a controlled expansion and guarantees a force transmitting bound between building parts
and ground work.
UM 1 TAMPER GROUT distiguishes by a high early and final strength, and is resisting to water,
frost and corrosive salt and almost impermeable for oil.
UM 1 TAMPER GROUT is load bearable just after 60 min, depending on the amount of BM 1
BLITZ-MRTEL.

RE 1 REPAIRING AND SCREED GROUT is stable and can also be used for overhead
works.
RE 1 REPAIRING AND SCREED GROUT has proven under extreme climatic conditions,
for construction and concrete structures, as coating and repairing of ground and wall
surfaces, bridges and tunnels, improvements of edges, cracks, stonework and butt joints,
laying tiles and slabs.
Results of perfectly processed grouts will only be as good as the thorough cleaning and
restoration of the surfaces Which they are applied to.
HK 1 ETCHING PRIMER guarantees protection and bonding of the underground of all
applied grouts.
SRM QUICK REPAIR GROUT is very sticky due its polymer component, vapor diffusible,
abrasion-resistant, frost and ice resistant, salt resistant and easy to use. All types are availa-
ble with steel fiber and/or hard surcharge compounds.
SRM QUICK REPAIR GROUT reduces CO penetration and slows down corrosion.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
Restoration, quick repairs, screeds, plaster, concrete, cracks, spallings, floors and
joints, tilings, plates and wallings, levelling, sealing by double slurries and plaster.
FM 1 JOINTING MORTAR is a specially designed finished grout, for which only water is
added for the desired consistency.
FM 1 JOINTING MORTAR can be delivered in all grain sizes, all cement types
(pozzolanic, mussel-, marble and Barrit-addings), PCC execution water proof - and deviate -
and also available in epoxy resin (resistant to fumes and chemicals) .
FM 1 JOINTING MORTAR are high quality, durable special products with strong adhesion
and wear-resistant surfaces, suitable for any joint design, also overhead as in arches.
Results of perfectly processed joints and joint sealing will only be as good as the
thorough cleaning and restoration of the surfaces Which they are applied to.
All old joints can be stabilized with FM1 JOINTING MORTAR. After this, apply a
bonding layer of HK 1 ETCHING PRIMER.
BS 12 Concrete Filler

BS 12 CONCRETE FILLER is a balanced large surface filler for walls, facades, because of
its grain size (0) seamlessly spreadable. BM 12 is abrasion resistant, breathable and sealing
(water- repellent).
BS 12 CONCRETE FILLER has a good water retention value , preventing cracks.

BS 12 CONCRETE FILLER has a high degree of admixture of synthetic materials , provi-
ding a connecting bridge. Never less a undercoating from the same material should be done,

TECHNICAL DATA
MM1 BRICKLAYER GROUT is a non shrinking mortar for filling and repairing concrete and
steel constructions, Zargen, windowsills, frames, etc.
MM1 BRICKLAYER GROUT is needed also for non shrinking and crack free joint-sealing.
It develops a controlled expansion and provides a rigid bond between building elements and
concrete foundation, load-bearing on the whole surface.
MM1 BRICKLAYER GROUT is distinguished by a high early and final strength, is resistant
to water, frost and corrosive salt and almost impermeable for oil.
MM1 BRICKLAYER GROUT is available in grain sizes up to 22 mm, with or without steel fiber.

AI 1F Anker/Injektion developes a high adhesive strength, early - and final strength (25

PROCESSING:
Before placement, the adjacent surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and wetted.

(steel) according to DIN 55928.
Clean concrete and mortar from less sticky parts and separating substances like:
Coating rests, abrasions, impregnations, oil, fats etc. depending on necessity,
grind, mill, blast with high pressure, shot peening or sand.
After preperation, the compressive strength must be at least medium 1,5 N/mm2.
The underfloor can be slightly moist.
MIXING:
Add water - not more than 35%, mix it with mechanical agitator at max. 300 R/min thoroughly
with a compulsory mixer . Storable for one year.
Consumption per layer > 1,5 kg/m.
PROCESSING:
Diluting is not necessary.
Mix HK 1 ETCHING PRIMER to plastic-like consistence. Brush in into the pores extensively
with scrubber - Underground & Processing temperature: 4 - 50C - Mix HK 1 ETCHING
PRIMER to slurry consistance. Brush in into pores extensivly with srubber - Color: grey.
CORROSION PROTECTION:
Thoroughly brush undergrounds, metals, reinforcements completely twice.
HK 1 ETCHING PRIMER can be used for overhead works and moisted surfaces.

Waiting time before second coating: approx. 6 hours - target thickness > 1 mm
Waiting time before grouting: ca. 6 hours.
A third coating is recommended, apply the grout wet on wet.

FE 1 FLOOR SCREED is suitable for layer thicknesses from 5 mm, depending on the
substrate. FE 1 FLOOR SCREED can be used up to 10 cm.
Provided by normal surface conditions, FE 1 FLOOR SCREED does not requirea primer
coat, is poured directly onto the matt damp, clean surface , distributed and vented with a
spiked roller and leveled (alternatively with nail boards). The surface can be sanded finely
ground.
FE 1 FLOOR SCREED is easily universally applicable, economical and has a high
resistance against strong chemicals, frost and de-icing salt - DIN1045 Section 6.5.7.

Examples of use
The advantage of epoxy resin is a large application possibility. From elastic to solid,
it is crack bridging and chemical resistant.
High point loadable, abrasion-resistant, chemical resistant, free of cracks, repairing and
cleaning advantages are a nother characteristic of polyurethan products.
MAC 1 Methacrylate

MAC 1 METHACRYLATE is a colorless reaction resin made of two components on the basis
of methyl methacrylate. Special features include a high -viscosity modification with medium
reactivity and flexible adjustment.
MAC 1 has been specifically designed for repairs in heavy industry and can also be used
where resistance to below 0 C is a prerequisite.
MAC 1 Coatings must be prepared with an MAG PRIMER and sealed with MAV.
PROCESSING:
In case of emaciation, chose a grading curve which guarantees a complete filling of voids, thus
guaranteeing the required interlacing of the material.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Clean the surface thoroughly of loose particles and dirt. The prerequisite for
applying the primer is a dry and dust free surface.
MIXING:
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
If there is skin contact with a hand cleaner, rinse sufficiently. For eye contact, rinse
and consult a doctor.
Fire protection grout meets the highest standard of Class A and DIN 4102.
Examples for application:
For casting for force transmitting and fire fortified compounds in reinforced concrete, as well as
for backfilling of door frames and between walls and lintels.
This grout corresponds to class F90, 90 min. fire resistance and complies with EN 13501-1.
