Terrorism has become one of the most embarrassing problem all over the world especially for the third
world country like Pakistan. It is replete with danger of devastating dimension. Terrorism not only
destabilize and demoralize a nation but it also creats uncertainity and insecurity among the masses. If
Terrorism creeps in a society, it eats the inner strength, outer spendour, economic prosperity and social
peace of a nation. The danger done is not only immediate but also far-reaching. Consequently, a nation's
good image is spoilled all over te world.

Wide spread disappointment in the common people arise this bad practice. It is like a white ant that is
eating away national health and has collapsed moral and economic pillars of a nation. Terrorism is highly
determental and devastating for a country like Pakistan. It destroys economic abd political stability. If the
evil of Terrorism is not nipped in the bud, it may spread rapidly like a bush fire and may engulf the whole
nation or region like an epidemic. It badly shatters peoples' faith in government institutions and
supremacy of the constitution. It deprives people of mental, physical, spiritual, moral and economic
health and territories integrity.

Every peace loving who longs and dreams for peace , prosperity and protection must ponders over the
causes of the social cancer of Terrorism. The main causes are amss illiteracy, poverty, long policies of
the government, instability, accumulate wealth and become rich over-night etc. Ethnic social and
regional diversities also breed the confrontation among the people. Feudalism uneven diatribution of
wealth and lack of education and health facilities also pave the way to spread Terrorism in a society.
External factors like involvement of foreign agencies are also spreading Terrorism in the country.

An elaborate system of control is need to check Terrorism . An organized committee should be set up and
provided with sufficient resources. Government authorities, NGO's and National Mass Media should also
take necessary steps at their level to uproot the growing menace of Terrorism. The accuser should be
given examplry punishments. It is only then that we can eradicate this evil from the society.
