2017 passenger total exceeds 40,000 passengers.   
 
Dexter, NY – As of November 30, 2017, passengers coming and going from Watertown 
International Airport has reached 43,038, exceeding all other years of Major Air Carrier service.  
 
“The thanks really goes out to the community for supporting the local airport and airline 
service” Said Grant Sussey. “We look forward to 2018 and beyond as we continue to grow.”  
 
“We also appreciate the investment and support by our federal, state and local partners as we 
continue to exceed expectations with what will be our highest year passenger count since the 
county and major air carrier service started.” Phil Reed, Chairmen General Services Committee

November was the highest percentage gain in 2017 so far compared to last year of the same 
month.
