SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Describe the purpose of the position in 2 or 3 sentences.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Engineer based at GTP, the Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the design, coordination and execution of operational
engineering activities related to the EBLA gas development. This includes asset integrity management, management of change engineering, troubleshooting,
plant optimization, technical support to major repairs and project engineering for small modifications. Incumbent is responsible to support the Senior Operations
Engineer in the leadership and coaching of the engineering multidiscipline work force.

 Degree in engineering or petroleum engineering
 Comprehensive understanding of operations, surface
and subsurface facilities
 Demonstrated knowledge of and exposure to production
and maintenance operations, and surface processing
facilities including metering and measurement
 Experience in leading people, including performance
management, mentoring and capability development
 Sound understanding of Environment, Health and Safety
management systems, including familiarity with key
elements of process safety management
 Business skills required to develop cost estimates,
AFE’s, budgets etc
 Firm knowledge of EBCO Policies and Principles.
 Ensure business needs are met by providing appropriate technical analysis and recommendations for maximizing production and
optimizing costs through integrity and reliability management
 Troubleshooting and process optimization for EBLA gas and oil project operations.
 Provide leadership and coaching to the multidisciplinary technical work force for both staff and contractors
 Design and construction supervision of small plant modifications
 Responsible for supporting OEMS and HSE initiatives
 Responsible for implementing technical recommendations from Damascus technical groups
 Maintain effective communication with partners (SPC and SGC) regarding technical aspects of operations and execution of joint
plans
 Act as a team player in the multifunctional operations and maintenance team
 Responsible for operational/engineering aspects of field and plant facilities
 To participate in and support the Company’s Emergency Response plan activities .
 Explore options to mitigate the environmental impacts of operations

DIMENSIONS: Describe any data that would define the size of

 Responsible for providing ongoing technical operations
support for the 80mmscf/d EBLA gas project
 Technical and project support for construction and
operation of 4000 BBL oil battery located at GGS

 Complete authority and responsibility to deal with all day to
day technical operational matters

WORKING CONDITIONS: Describe the physical environment the job/position is located in. Are there unusual physical requirements or mental stress factors that impact the job/position? (e.g. regular outdoor
work, climbing towers, frequent business related travel or having to sit for extended periods of time at a PC, or reception desk).

 Position is based in Syria, in remote camp locations, rotation of 7 days working on shift and 7 days off, travel on days off. Must be physically fit, able to work under sever weather conditions and able to climb
ladders and stair cases to elevated work platforms to monitor/repair process equipment.
