Regional Program Coordinator DSWD Field Office XII

Dear Mada:

Greetings from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU)!

One of the approved activities of our collaborative project under the National S&T
Program on Slaughter Goat is to produce trained facilitators, who can conduct the
Farmer Livestock School on Halal Goat Enterprise Management (FLS-HALAL GEM) in
their respective local government units. In this connection, we have scheduled the
learning workshop on FLS-HALAL GEM on November 6-18, 2017 at Koronadal City,
South Cotabato to be participated by 20 agricultural technologists, livestock inspectors
and veterinarians across Region 12 and ARMM. The focus of the training will be on halal
goat raising and halal goat-based enterprise management and will also expose
participants to FLS as a modality for community participation.

Related to this, we would like to invite Mr. Abraham B. Sumapal to participate in the said
training. Training kit, food and accommodation will be provided for free to the participants.
However, due to limited funds, we are requesting your office to shoulder travel costs of
your participants to and from the venue. Kindly confirm their participation to Mr. Jomar M.
Maltu Mobile number 09058474518 on or before November 3, 2017.

As this endeavor is critical to the attainment of the objectives of our collaborative program,
we are optimistic for your cooperation and support. Attached for your reference is the
program of activities.

With our highest esteem.

Very truly yours,

ROLANDO F. HECHANOVA, Ph.D.
