King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s, Polygondwanaland, was the Australian psych-rock bands fourth album of 2017, now
officially available from ATO Records on CD and Vinyl.

Beginning with the 10-minute epic “Crumbling Castle”, Polygondwanaland once again transports King Gizzard fans to their
unique world of eclectic psychedelia.

The band is noted for its energetic live performances and prolific recording output, having released thirteen full-length
studio albums since 2012. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard's early work was primarily a blend of surf music, garage rock and
psychedelic rock, while more recent releases show a broader range of influences, including elements of film music,
progressive rock, folk, jazz, soul and heavy metal.

[ SEBELL ] follows up his 2016 self-titled debut album with Songs For Flight Delays. [ SEBELL ] has spent the past year busy
writing and recording in LA, Nashville and British Columbia for his upcoming album Songs For Flight Delays - a 7 song
collection of autobiographical songs covering his life over the past few years largely spent in transit. The first single off this
album, FOMY (Fear Of Missing You), is a pulsing synth-driven track produced by Super Duper (R.LUM.R’s “Frustrated”) in
Nashville, TN. His song “Dark Side”, bonus track on the album, was recently synced in the final season of MTV’s TEEN WOLF.

August, 1970: With Jim Morrison's ongoing Miami obscenity trial casting an ominous shadow over the band, The Doors flew
to England to play the Isle of Wight Festival. Waiting for them at "The Last Great Festival" were over 600,000 fans who had
already torn down the barriers, crashed the gates, and enjoyed performances by the world's top acts such as Jimi Hendrix,
The Who, Miles Davis and Joni Mitchell. The Doors took the stage at 2 am, playing with the weight of the trial on their backs,
and showed fans they still had the magic that had propelled them to the top during the Summer of Love. “We played with a
controlled fury and Jim was in fine vocal form," said Doors organist Ray Manzarek. "He sang for all he was worth, but moved
nary a muscle. Dionysus had been shackled.” Less than a year later, The Doors were no more. Here, for the very first time, is

Qui de mieux placée que Juliette pour nous décrire dans ses propres mots son nouvel album, 11 opus studio.

« C’est marrant, cette impression de faire vraiment un « nouvel » album après trente ans de bons et loyaux services. Parce que finalement je n’ai jamais
fait ça : un piano-solo accompagné par des musiciens ! Ce qui, cette fois, va être le cas. « J’aime pas la chanson » ? On s’attend à ce que j’explique ce
titre mais cet album aurait tout aussi bien pu s’appeler « J’aime pas le piano » il s’appelle « j’aime pas la chanson » parce que j’aime pas non plus la
chanson. Ce qui est rigoureusement vrai, mais ne m’empêche pas d’en faire. Même si je n’aime pas écrire, chercher le mot juste au sens exact, la forme,
le fond, patin-couffin, gratter pendant des heures du papier à carreaux ou à musique, tâtonner le piano, et chantonner des lalala pas seulement sous la
douche. J’ai bien connu une crèmerie qui proposait des produits sublimes dans un coin de Paris et dont la patronne ne mangeait jamais de fromage
parce que, disait-elle, elle n’aimait pas ça.

Voilà ! Je suis la crémière de la chanson.

Salvatore Adamo revient avec un vingt-cinquième album studio sous le bras et il n’est pas content. Enfin, disons qu’à 74 ans, il a des choses à dire, et
qu’il ne se gêne pas pour les dire, avec la modeste et pudique élégance qu’on lui a toujours connue et dont on lui est infiniment gré. Trop influencés par
cette image de chanteur candide qui lui colle à la peau et qu’il ne renie pas, on a parfois oublié qu’il fut l’un des premiers à dénoncer le franquisme dans
« Manuel » et écrivit « Inch’ Allah », chanson pour la paix, juste avant que n’éclate la Guerre des Six Jours.

Les somptueux arrangements, comme ceux de tout l’album, sont signés Clément Ducol et Maxime Le Guil, deux réalisateurs surdoués de la chanson
française qui en remontreraient facilement, en matière de modernité et de son, à n’importe quelle « nouvelle révélation » trendy. Adamo a également
convié la chanteuse Camille sur un duo d’anthologie qui nous transporte presque dans l’univers magique d’un thème de comédie musicale ou des
merveilleuses mélodies Disney d’antan.

Femi Kuti is the heart and soul of modern Afrobeat. Femi’s father, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, created the style - a blend of
traditional Nigerian drum patterns, the smooth groove of highlife and American soul, funk and R&B – and took it to the
world, inspiring people with insistent dance beats and lyrics bristling with political statements. Afrobeat moved several
generations of musicians, in Nigeria and around the world, to follow Fela’s dictum and use music as a weapon to fight for
justice and freedom. Femi and his band, Positive Force, are at the forefront of that movement, continually expanding the
music’s vocabulary, adding hints of punk and hip-hop to the sound, while maintaining its traditional roots and political

Ornette Coleman was an American jazz saxophonist, violinist, trumpeter, and composer. He was one of the major innovators of the free

awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 1994. His album Sound Grammar received the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for music.

In November 1977, after completing a 6 month world tour, Rory Gallagher and his band flew straight from their last show in
Japan to San Francisco to begin working on a new album, with famed American producer Elliot Mazer. Mazer recalls that the
sessions grew “tense”, as Gallagher wasn’t happy with the mixing process, and by the end of January 1978 he shelved the
record and broke up his band. This lost album from 1977 was remixed and mastered in 2010 by Rory’s nephew who added a
live album from 1978 at San Francisco’s The Old Waldorf, highlighting the sound Rory had been looking for.

Originally formed in 1985 as a Black Flag influenced hardcore punk band called Virulence, FU MANCHU
has since become one of hard rock’s most celebrated names. The band released its first single “Kept

Led by the force of Bria Salmena’s vocals, the band has earned a reputation for putting on an hypnotic and visceral live performance. Embracing the
mercurial and experimental, their shows are built upon instinct; a vocal growl can unexpectedly give way to a hushed whisper; languid drones boil over
into guttural and searing tones.
Maintaining the communal, do-it-yourself spirit of their forbearers, the band bought recording equipment and turned their Toronto apartment into a
studio where they wrote, engineered, and mixed their 2016 Slush EP and two-sided single Chest / Trashyard. 2018 will see the release of the band's
forthcoming debut album.

Has a more notorious, infamous, call to arms of a poem than "Howl" been published in the late 20th century? Scrawled in
1955 with such intimate, enthusiastic fervor by the young Ginsberg, "Howl" helped thrust into the public eye the Beats--a
genuinely original, deep, and at times unintentionally campy group of writers. But "Howl" is Ginsberg's work, and while it
pays homage to his close friends--like William S. Burroughs ("who retired to Mexico to cultivate a habit") and Jack Kerouac

In November 1977, after completing a 6 month world tour, Rory Gallagher and his band flew straight from their last show in
Japan to San Francisco to begin working on a new album, with famed American producer Elliot Mazer. Mazer recalls that the
sessions grew “tense”, as Gallagher wasn’t happy with the mixing process, and by the end of January 1978 he shelved the
whole record and broke up his band of the past 5 years. This lost album from 1977 was remixed and mastered in 2010 by
Rory’s nephew.

Andy Sheppard’s quartet extends the musical explorations begun on the 2015 release Surrounded By Sea, an album praised
by Télérama for its “poignant serenity.” In this new programme of compositions by Sheppard (plus the title track by Brazilian
singer-songwriter Ranato Teixeira), the drones and washes of Eivind Aarset’s guitar and electronics – aided by the generous
acoustics of Lugano’s Auditorio Stelio Molo RSI – help to establish a climate in which improvisation can take place. There’s a
highly atmospheric, ambient drift to the music which Sheppard clearly finds liberating, as do Michel Benita and Seb Rochford,
free to move in and out of conventional rhythm section roles and to make impassioned statements of their own. Romaria was
recorded in April 2017 and produced by Manfred Eicher.
