Leadership style

There are 4 leadership style that hold by Chairul Tanjung that make the
success and failure in running the business.
1. Charismatic leadership style
The followers motivated leadership abilities heroic or extraordinary when they
observe certain behaviors of their leaders. He had a vision aimed at targeting
the ideal hoping the future is better than the status quo, and were able to clarify
the importance of vision to understand other people. Charismatic leader willing
to take a high personal risk, to bear the huge cost, and engage in self-sacrifice
to achieve a vision. They are able to realistically assess the environmental
constraints and resources needed to make a change.
He also perceptive (very understanding) on the ability of other people and
responsive to their needs and feelings.

2. Tansactional leadership
Transactional leaders are leaders who guide or motivate their followers
towards the goals set by clarifying role and task requirements. The
transactional leadership style focuses more on the leader.

3. Transformational leadership style


Transformational leaders pay attention to the things and the development
needs of each of the followers, transformational leaders change the
consciousness of the followers would be problems with helping them see old
problems in new ways, and they were able to stimulate, arouse, and inspire
followers to expend extra effort to achieve the goals of the group.

4. The visionary leadership style


The ability to create and articulate a vision that is realistic, credible and
attractive about the future of the organization or organizational unit is growing
and getting better than currently. This vision if selected and implemented
correctly, has a great power that can result in a jump-start into the future by
raising the skills, talents, and resources to make it happen. In terms of style of
leadership , Chairul always stressed the importance of innovation in doing
business therefore. One that is easily visible are events that fill the TV stations
owned by his firm that often show events entirely new in Indonesia, unique,
even abroad. Of course, the importance of this innovation has been imparted
to all employees starting from the helm of each business line.
