I am very much interested in the job announcement for the post of Accountant, which has fallen vacant
within your organization as advertised. The job content as presented is very interesting and I believe
that with my professional qualification in business administration and years of experience, with more
than twelve years being responsible for the production of financial statements, I will be an outstanding
candidate for this post. In my previous postings, I was intensively involved in the installation and
preservation of internal controls at the branch I was stationed at, apart from the accounting work. I was
also responsible for overseeing the security concerns of the branch. As the branch custodian, I would
oversee all security personnel including out sourced personnel from independent security companies.
The safe custody of assets, both movable and immovable, was also vested in me, since I was the branch
custodian. Along with my diploma from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in
Zimbabwe (ICSAZ) and work experience which spans more than twenty years in the finance and
administration, I believe I have the capability to become a core member of the administration team in
your organization.

In character I am someone who is willing to learn and can adopt to given environment easily. I always
strive to uphold high integrity standards in all the things I do. As a professional I always maintain my
ethical standards, as is expected of a professional. As an enthusiastic candidate I would like an
