Driveline - Lubrizol’s broad additive product line
covers a wide range of driveline applications, including
passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-highway
vehicles used in construction, mining, agriculture and
forestry. We provide complete breadth and depth of
knowledge, superior technical facilities, regional testing
capabilities and talented people, all of which allow us
to continue addressing evolving end-user demands
through innovative performance packages for gear oils,
transmission fluids and off-highway fluids.
Engine Oils – Lubrizol engine oil additives are
designed to provide protection for end users driving
both modern, high-tech engines and older models,
enhancing vehicle performance while minimizing
environmental impact. Our diverse product portfolio,
which includes engine oil additives and performance
polymers, ensures we are able to deliver the right
oil for the right application, addressing consumer
demands across a broad spectrum of routine and harsh
environmental conditions.
Viscosity Modifiers – Lubrizol’s viscosity modifiers
are more than just thickeners – they are performance
polymers that provide significant improvements for
lubricants in a wide variety of applications, including
energy production and transportation. We innovate,
develop and supply the broadest range of technologies for
this market – including performance-enhancing polymers,
viscosity index improvers, synthetic base fluids and
advanced pour point depressants – and we continue to
expand our portfolio of polymer solutions.
Fuels – Lubrizol’s portfolio of fuel products is
designed to meet the needs of consumers and the
stringent performance demands of OEMs, fuel system
manufacturers and fuel producers around the world. Our
full range of gasoline, diesel and residual fuel additives
promote optimal power, fuel efficiency, engine and
equipment life, as well as help to reduce emissions for
transportation and industrial markets.
Industrial – Lubrizol offers one of the most complete lines
of performance additives used to formulate lubricants for
hydraulic, industrial gear, turbine, grease, metal processing
and metal protection applications. Our portfolio includes
Chemtool Incorporated, a custom grease manufacturer;
and CPI Fluid Engineering, a supplier of synthetic and
mineral oil-based fluids for refrigeration, food processing
and industrial applications, including Paratherm™ heat
transfer fluids.
