KABABAIHAN sa KOREA
 Ang mga babae ay hindi pinagtatrabaho sa mga pambublikong lugar.
Sila ay walang tinig sa mga desisyon sa loob ng pamilya gayundin sa lipunan at hindi rin
pinapayagang makapagpahayag ng kanilang saloobin.

Ang katayuan ng kababaihan sa lipunang Koreano ay naimpluensiyahan ng Confucianismo.

Ang kapangyarihan sa isang pamilya ay nasa kamay ng itinuturing na hari, ang ama, at ang
tungkulin ng kaniyang asawa at mga anak ay paglingkuran siya.

Umiikot ang kanilang buhay sa pagiging mapagmahal na asawa, mapag-arugang ina,

maasikasong manugang, at masikap sa gawaing bahay.

Gawaing bahay lamang ang tanging edukasyon na kanilang natutuhan.

JAPAN
 Ang mga babae sa probinsya at sa mga tribo ay inaasahan na gumawa
lamang ng mga gawaing bahay samantalang mga lalaki ang gumagawa ng
mga mabibigat na gawain na kinakailangan ng lakas(tulad ng pagtotroso,
pagbubuhat, pagsasaka etc.). Dahil sa pagbibigay ng lipunan ng importansya

PILIPINAS
 Ang gampanin ng mga kababaihan sa Pilipinas (mga Pinay) ay ipinaliwanag ayon sa diwa
ng kalinangang Pilipino, pamantayan, pananaw at kaisipan. Nilarawan ang Pilipinas bilang
isang bansa ng mga matatatag na mga kababaihan, na tuwiran at hindi tuwirang nagpapatakbo sa
mag-anak, negosyo, mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan at mga hasyenda. Bagaman pangkalahatang
pinakakahuluganan nila ang kanilang mga sarili sa isang tagpuan sa Asya na napapangibabawan
ng mga kalalakihan sa isang lipunang dumaan sa kolonyalismo at Katoliko, namumuhay ang mga
Pilipinong kababaihan sa isang kulturang nakatuon ang pansin sa pamayanan, na ang mag-anak
ang pangunahing bahagi ng lipunan. Dito sa balangkas na ito - na may kayariang pangkahanayan,
pagkakaiba-ibang antas sa lipunan, kadahilanang makapananampalataya, at pamumuhay sa isang
umuunlad na bansa ng mundo - nakikibaka ang mga kababaihang Pilipino. Kung ihahambing sa
ibang mga bahagi ng Timog-silangang Asya, palagiang nakakatamasa ng mas malaking antas ng
kapantayang makabatas ang mga kababaihang nasa lipunan ng Pilipinas.
"Gender Equality" o ang pagkilala sa pantay na pag-tingin sa magkabilang kasarian ay
madalas na pinag-uusapan ng karamihan dahilan na rin na ito ay madalas pag-awayan ng mag-
kabilang panig . Dahil narin sa umiiral na pang-aabuso ng karamihan pinili ng karamihan na
sundin at ipaglaban ang ibat ibang adbokasiya. Isa narin sa dahilan nito ay ang mapang-
abusong pag-gamit ng kalalakihan sa kapangyarihan ng upuan .. Ibig kong sabihin bago pa
itinatag ang adbokasiyang ito lalaki lamang ang maaring tumakbo para sa mga posisyon pang
politika . Dahil narin may kinikilala noon ang lalaki sa pamamalakad ng mga kapisanan noon pa
man .
Pangalawang dahilan nito siguro ay ang madalas na discriminasyon sa magkabilang panig o
kasariaan . Tulad nalang nang mas mababang pagtingin ng lalakihan sa kakayahang pisikal ng
mga babae . At ang mababang pagtingin naman ng mga kababaihan sa kakayahang pang-
sariling disiplina ng mga kalalakihan . hindi bat kaygandang pakinggan kung may respeto tayo
sa bawat isa. Sa kasalikuyang panahon mramaing ng mga mga batas ang nangangalaga sa
ating karpatan. Babae ka man o lalaki dapat lamang na igalang ka at ang pagktao mo

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Every day the people in this nation zoom around in their busy lives. People cut
corners to save time and often take the easy route in many tasks. Sometimes by cutting
these corners, an impact can be made on the world around us and the people we love.
Eating is just one of the many things that people forget to take care of. Food is the
foundation to our bodies. Food is what keeps people going and fuels them to do what
they need to do. In 337 BC, Hippocrates stated, “Let food be your medicine and medicine
be your food.” A well-balanced, whole foods diet high in all essential nutrients and absent
of offending substances will result in healthy body, healthy mind and healthy body weight.
People need to realize just how serious the consequences are related to poor diet.
Conscious living and healthy eating habits are essential to a healthy, long life free from
ailments and chronic illness. It is never too late to start making a change. The time has
come for the people of this nation to take control of their lives.

What does it mean to be active and healthy? Does it just mean that you have
good health? Did you know that on average, only 13% of men are physically fit, but 69% of
men believe that they are physically fit? It is very important to stay in shape. Living and
active and healthy lifestyle is beneficial in many ways to not only yourself but to those
around you. Being active and healthy does not have to be hard; it is just a simple matter of
routine. There are many different kinds of physical activities and each of them has
different benefits. There is cardiovascular, strength or weight training, flexibility, and
balance. Cardiovascular is a kind of exercise that gets your heart rate up and decreases
body fat. It also improves the health of your heart and lungs. Strength or weight training is
to make you stronger. It increases your metabolism and increases your muscle mass. It can

also make your bones stronger for healthy aging.

Regular exercise improves the body’s overall health and helps in fighting diseases. It does
not take that much work to be fit; all you have to do is at least 30 minutes of physical
activity a day. You could run to school or work, or take the stairs instead of the elevator, or
go to the gym. Being physically fit “can also reduce feelings of depression, relieve anxiety,
help control weight, [and] build and maintain healthy bones”. Just a little bit of exercise

each day can make a huge difference in how you live your life.

Being healthy means eating right and exercising. To keep a healthy balance
diet a person should try to eat daily at least a portion of the six major food groups, and
exercise at least three times a week to keep the body fit and reduce the chances of poor

health. A wholesome diet and lifestyle can help a person live a long healthy life.

Two of the six major food groups are fruits and vegetables. First, oranges have
been found to help fight different types of cancers and other ailments. Researchers
found oranges have the highest concentration of antioxidants in all fruits. Antioxidants
replenish and minimize the damage to our cells; for example, these cells help us contain
a strong immune system to fight infection. They also decrease the aging process our
body goes through. Oranges are classified as citrus fruits and it has been discovered that
they reduce the risk of mouth, larynx, and stomach cancer by 50%. Broccoli when it is
chewed or smashed contains small amount of a chemical called sulphorphane that has
anti-cancer compound. Researchers found that raw broccoli lacks sulpharpane and has
no cancer fighting power, but when broccoli is heated to 60 C it contains the anti-cancer
compound at higher ratio. This is a very difficult way obtain sulphoraphane, because you
have to be careful not to cook it. Researchers suggest ways to insure high levels of
sulphoraphane by eliminating genes, and hybrids with wild strains. All this sounds scary
when they are changing the chemical structure of the vegetable. There are always other
vegetables and fruits that are rich in other chemicals that help fight cancer and other
health ailments.
Strength training exercise helps your bones, muscle tissue, and joints. Our

bones start to thin and wear out as we age.
