Ask the students: Aside from being nice online, and knowing the internet threats, what do you
think are the possible instances which will put you in danger on the internet?
PICTURE ANALYSIS
The students will be divided into 5 groups. Series of pair of pictures will be displayed on the TV
and each member of the group will discuss their observations on the pictures. Students will
choose one reporter to answer the following question:
1. How does the right picture differ from the left?
2. How would you identify which is original and which is a copy?
3. What do you think will be consequences on copying somebody’s work?

The students will be asked with the following questions:
1. How will you use somebody’s work in a good way?
2. What are your experiences with regards to protecting reputation online?
Have the students make generalization about how to be safe online.
Ask the students: Have you ever search the Internet for certain information where the search
engine returned a different result?
Ask the students to connect to the Hotspot and search for the term “Jaguar” which is a type of
cat and answer the following question:
 What is the first result about?
 Why do you think it returned result you did not expect?
 How do you think would be the proper way to search for the term “jaguar” so that the
first result will talk about jaguar as a cat?

Ask the students to try each tips by searching on google using their smartphone.
The students will be asked with the following questions:
1. What will you type to search for a Powerpoint presentation about “Internet Threats”?
2. What will you do if you will search for an image using another image?
Have the students summarize the tips for efficiently browsing on the internet.
