Three Unities
1.) Unity of Action
a. The play should follow one story, with minimal subplots
2.) Unity of Time
a. The play should take place during 24 hour period
3.) Unity of Place
a. The play should take place in one location

A play incorporating the Six Elements and the three unities is called a “Well-made
play”.
