 Title Short Term Load Forecasting

 Description Optimum load scheduling has become a matter of routine in an online control of integrated
system, whereas security of supply depends on availability of different energy-producing units.
The availability is decided by total load demand at any time. It is desirable for maintenance
schedule of units to know the appropriate load demands of various nodes of the system at different
instances of time in future with minimum uncertainty. This necessitates of an accurate modeling
of load forecasting process. Short term load forecasting of electrical power is hour to hour load
management involving reliability, security and economic viability of a system depend on such
forecasting.
