5.0 Background of the proposed project

5.1 Physical location

Laman Lapis Enterprise located at 4-1 Parit Lapis Laman, Parit Sulong, 83500, Batu
Pahat, Johor. As we know, The premise is located at the housing area with many
facilities and people nearby.

5.2 Price of Premise

Since the premise is a commercial business premise owned by MARA, the rent is
lower than market rate. Expenses for the rent cost about RM 200/month.

5.3 Distance from source of raw materials

We got the raw materials from suppliers around Batu Pahat . Our Main supplier is
Kim Wah which is located at Ayer Hitam, Batu Pahat. The suppliers guarantee that
the materials are not faulty.

5.4 Availabilty of manpower

Since the business is baking which means it need skilled workers, the research for
available manpower needs to be expanded to other areas. I plan to maintain the
number of quality workers on the first year and search more staff from the
neighbourhood and the certificates in baking in training institutes in Batu Pahat.
