longer an issue when communicating. It has

allowed small businesses to flourish as they

are able to conduct business quickly and

easier than ever before. Think of all the

individuals who use the Internet daily. Now imagine your life without it. It wouldn't be as easy

to find that store you were looking for or delivering that important presentation to your client

without the information highway known as the Internet. The Internet has undoubtedly changed

the world we live in.

However there are some dangers relating the use of the Internet, especially when it comes

to children. The main dangers to children are the inappropriate access to information. They also

risk “friendships” with strangers that can be dangerous for them.

But older people can also face some risks when using the Internet. For instance, people

shouldn’t put their personal information such as name and address online. Someone can invade

their privacy without their knowledge. They should also be careful about their credit card when

they do shop online because the credit card information can be stolen. Being a sedentary and

addictive activity, people can risk their personal health through the excessive use of the Internet.

Therefore, we should be critical users of the Internet, because a lot of information on the

Internet comes from many sources and not all is reliable.
